Game Thread W15 - Washington V Dallas (1 Viewer)

:goodposting: Grossman.
And it begins... do you really want to know how this is going to end, Washington fans? As a Bears fan, I can tell you all you want to know. He's sexy Rexy. There's just enough there to entice you. Or Shanny, in this case. We sat Orton for that bozo for a while. Pure fools gold. He has at least one pick-6 in him today. At least one.

I don't think any of us are under any illusion as to how this will end.

Except Shanny, apparently. Even if you're letting Donovan go, I don't know how this helps. But maybe there's something I'm missing.

How is Austin looking? I know he has a TD, but is he getting any looks from Kitna or is it the same trash as the last six weeks?

From the box score, he's been getting decent targets when near the endzone, but hasn't managed to convert many of them. I don't know if these are drops, poor passes, or good coverage, though.

Moss was WIDE OPEN! You suck, Grossman!

...but follows up with TD to Cooley, so you only partially suck, Grossman.

Win or lose, Grossman has played much better today than McNabb has at any point this year. A lot of people are gonna be eating lots of crow.

Hmmm...21/34, 4TDs, 2 pass conversions...maybe Grossman doesn't suck so much at all.
And McNabb had only thrown more than 1 TD in a game twice in 13 games so far this year. And only did that twice, throwing for two TDs in two games. And Grossman doubled that in his first start. Hmmm, maybe Shanahan isn't so dumb after all...

And Grossman hasn't thrown a single pass at somebody's feet.

I love it. We lose the game to get the better draft pick, and Grossman's play shows that McNabb DOES suck, and our coaches might actually have a clue.

Ive never been a huge fan of McNabb, but I don't think McNabb sucks as much as they were trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Instead of designing an offense that suits what McNabb does good, they tried to change McNabb to fit their system. They chose McNabb, so thats on them. They still shot themselves in the foot yet again with poor offseason moves. All told, IIRC, they spent a 2nd and a 3rd for McNabb, passed up on a chance for a 3rd for Haynesworth, and made both richer with new contracts. McNabb's contract isn't guaranteed, but it does make him virtually untradeable So they lost three picks on guys who will most likely not be there next season.
