Game Thread W16 - New Orleans V Detroit (1 Viewer)

Thomas TD. Brees on pace for another 300 yard game -- FWIW, considering he may not need to play the 4th except to go for the record. Then again, with this Lions team, NO could probably already sit everybody worth mentioning.

Im glad for you Thomas owners but us Brees owners are pretty much stuck with 0 TDs for the day unless Calvin explodes and some fortuitous things happen for the Lions.

 
I'm nauseous with how many points I left on my bench with Cassel, particularly because he's playing in a blizzard as if it's 70 degrees outside!

 
This team is beyond pathetic. They called a timeout on the very first snap after the half? What idiots.

Well it looks like my team is destined to lose. The Pats up 31 to 0 in horrid weather just threw a 76 yd TD to Moss for his first catch of the day. Needless to say I am playing against him and the only thing that was having me stomach Brees throwing for 0 TDs was that Moss had been a non-factor and I figured he wouldn't catch anything today seeing as they were up 31-0. When the fantasy gods have it in for you nothing can be done to dismay them.

 
To make matters worse Big Ben just threw another TD. Damn you Fantasy Football I love you and hate you at the same time.

 
The way Brees' day is going is just more evidence that fantasy football is not an exact science. If players did as well as they were projected to do every week, it would be boring.

 
Assumed the logger just put the wrong "6-yard line" in the ticker. Guessing the big play was actually the play before to Henderson to the 6?

AKA - should have been "DET 6" instead of "to NO 6"...

Yes. And the Raiders. The Bengals are fairly terrible and the Browns are horrific right now but all those teams have shown glimpses of looking vaguely passable. The Lions? Ugh. There are a small handful of guys on this team that have looked good/respectable. But the team as a whole is just downright disgustingly lousy. The coach, owner, and most players should be fired.
