Game Thread W16 - NY Giants V Washington (1 Viewer)

Announcer: "I think this area is where Patrick Ramsey has really taken the next step"(talking about Ramsey getting rid of the ball quickly).ramsey made one throw, and then the announcer said this. Huh? One pass means hes taken the next step? He hasn't played in meaningful action since week 1!

If and that is a big IF, the Skins can get in the redzone.. Cooley could see targets from Ramsey. Seems he looked to him often earlier in the year.

What happened to Brunell?Nevermind...Ramsey is doing just fine.jwvdcw you will be disappointed in me. I bet the Skins today. :)Moss is a monsta!

This is freaking terrible.. I'd really rather see Campbell
 Ramsey: 2-3, 1 TD
You know perfectly well that had nothing to do with Ramsey
 Sure the run after the catch was all Moss(and a bit luck due to the guy falling), but the pass was in a really good position- WR had a chance, DB had no shot at it.

Ramsey's 3 passes: good little dumpoff on 3rd and long that got a first down, threw the ball away when nobody was open, and the pass to Moss.

Can't really complain about that, can you? And I don't think the second timeout was his fault...it looked like he was actually the one who knew what he was doing and the WR was out of position.

I'm not going to argue with you. But I'm quite sure he'll turn the ball over at least once in a critical situation.

Trust me, I'm nervous as well. But I don't think hes a bad backup QB to have- in fact, I'd say hes in the top half of backups in the league. Lets just hope that turnover doesn't happen.

Dear Coaches Coughlin and Lewis. This just in Will Allen cannot cover Santana Moss by himself. Please stop calling plays that will leave him one on one with Moss.TIA

Obviously not watching the game. Seems like a bunch of dumb penalties by Skins D.
Eh...I wouldn't say its been anything too extreme. The last PI call was a decent play because he was beat and it could've been a TD had he not interfered.

I love Santana Moss, Win me a SUperbowl!!!!!Now come on Giants, I have money riding on ya!!!!!

does Moss have 3 TD's??? Figures.....I needed this performance LAST week in the semis of another league.

Giants fail on 4th down...could be ballgame there.P.S. Was I the only one with a big hand across my tv screen during that last play?

Not the explosive game were used to from Tiki, but, I have him at 13 points in a normal scoring league. That ain't going to lose anyone any games. My guess is the Tiki Troll won't revisit the thread.... once again. :)On another note. Whoever's idea it was at FOX to ring the jingle bells after every play or whenever the ticker scrolls -- should be SHOT! Its annoying.

Just got back from the game, and noticed the following things while there:There might be somebody who can cover Santana Moss, but he was not on the field today.Clinton Portis once again had the Redskins' dirtiest uniform. He was green and brown at the end of the 1st quarter.Clinton Portis is tough. And good. Very good. The Giants are great at gaining yards between the 20 yard lines. The Redskins scored 5 offensive touchdowns today. The Giants scored 1.This game was in doubt until the repeated Giants drives ended on unconverted 4th downs in the 4th quarter.Tiki Barber is very good. The Giants are good.Today the Redskins were clearly better, on offense and defense. The stadium is deafening when the Redskins' opponents have the ball. When the Skins have the ball it's so quiet you can talk to someone 2 rows away.Patrick Ramsey plays like he has previous experience starting as an NFL quarterback. The second time Ramsey called timeout it was a great call ---- Antonio Brown had absolutely no clue where he was to line up or go in motion. No Gatorade on the coach. The Redskins know this means nothing, that they're not "there" yet. The Redskins remember losing 36-0.Most importantly for Redskin fans: today this team turned a corner. They have not been good enough for years to be able to put themselves in the playoffs. There were always forlorn wishes for losses by other teams, but there was really no hope. Last week they beat one team in their way for the playoffs. Today they beat an even better team, one that was thought to be as good or better than the Redskins are. They outplayed the Giants, they did not fold or give it away. This is different. They control if they make the playoffs, and they have already beaten 3 teams who will be in the playoffs, and nearly beat a fourth.Things are different in Washington now. Finally.I have laryngitis from yelling today.

Can I be the first to question the officiating? Did anyone else watch that whole game? From the very start when the Giants punted from the 50 and Tyree downed it at the 3, but he was forced out of bounds and came back in. That was a big free 16 yards, with the homefield advantage. And the holding call on Chris Snee that negated the touchdown, and the very next play they don't call pass interference. There was also a weak roughing the passer call because there was a slight helmet to helmet contact. I've seen a few games where I felt like the refs really messed up the calls, but in this game I felt like they were clearly biased. The bad calls, and lack of calls, and the announcers were all over it. "If you are gonna call holding on Snee, you gotta call that pass interference call as well."The Giants are clearly a better team. If you have to pull a 49ers, and cheat to beat us, your future is pretty clear.Good luck next time we play. In New York.

Agree completely, Giants are better team. Next time they meet us will be in the meadowlands and we will dominate them last time.
