Game Thread W17 - Oakland V Kansas City (1 Viewer)

Be nice for Charles to get the rushing title since he's been the best RB in the league pretty easily, but I think being fresh for the playoff game, possibly just 6 days away, is too important.

The only thing I have riding on the game is my office pickem pool, so I'd like a Raider victory. But I wouldn't mind seeing Charles get the rushing title. I agree that I'd like to see Charles healthy for the playoffs, but I'm glad that they're not going the Jets route of not playing Tomlinson and Greene.
 
This is going to be a boring game. Raiders are generally boring and Boller is at QB now, while KC is playing far too vanilla and conservative.

Charles does it again. Nice 47-yard run.

Shame he couldn't put it in the endzone with the way the offense is struggling today.

He eventually got it on a 3rd and goal run, game tied at 10-10. Charles currently leads the NFL in rushing having passed Foster.
 
Are the Raiders trying to showcase Bush today to trade him in the offseason? He is a restricted FA....and I think they could use Reece next year as the bruiser.

I wouldn't necessarily think that. I think that if McFadden were active and available to play, they'd be using two running backs more so than giving all of the carries to Bush.
 
Ford scores on a 10 yard end around following a Cassel interception. Raiders up their lead to 24-10.

 
Too bad Janikowski missed that 1 FG in that early game where they would have beat Arizona.

 
Cassel throws a pick 6 interception. Raiders up their lead to 31-10. Cassel has been brutal today and hasn't had any help from his OL. Cassel is 9/27 today. I'd say this game is lost and it's time to put in the backup so that Cassel doesn't get injured and misses next weeks playoff game.
