Game Thread W2 - Pittsburgh V Chicago (1 Viewer)

Well Ben showed why he's the best clutch qb in the game but his team let him down today.
 Brady,Brees,Manning ETC...........................
Right now, I'd take Ben over all of them in a clutch situation.
Please stop. I like Ben but no way.
I don't know how many game winning drives this is guy is going to have to engineer before people start considering him a great clutch qb. Manning is a great qb but I'd hardly call him a great "clutch" qb. Today wasn't a game winning drive but that has nothing to do with Ben.

Guys, guys. Can we give this debate a rest? Let's get back to what is really important...how the Bears are the best team in the league right now.

Wouldnt clutch be putting the ball in the end zone?
Apparently, "clutchness" is driving the team down the field but not close to the endzone
You're right......putting the ball in the hands of your wr in the endzone does not qualify as clutch if the guy drops the ball. Anyways, congrats on the win Bears fans. It was a great game.

chill. Roth is the man. Just saying I wouldn't take him over Brady. Very few would. :(

Since the Steelers are the defending SB champs this pretty much means the Bears are the best team in the league right now.
THIS week. Last week they were the WORST team. Do the math: they are an average team and at 1-1 sitting behind the best team in the division: the Vikings.

Forte knows math. This isn't math

I'm still concerned about the running game. Why the hell aren't they running the ball more? Giving to Cutler to throw 35-40 times a game isn't going to cut it. How is this not obvious? If teams continue to make Cutler beat them and he does, the running game will have to open up...right?

Na, the Packers beat you guys and the Bungles beat them, so let's all bow down to Cincy! :P
The Broncos beat the Bengals... :excited:

Hard to run on Pittsburgh. But give Cutler and receivers some more time to gel and start scaring some defenses. Lanes will open

Congrats, Bears fans.

Cutler did a good job on the comeback win. Obviously the missed FGs from Reed hurt but just as bad were the drops by Steelers receivers, espcially the Holmes drop in the endzone. I was also disappointed in the Steelers secondary giving so much cushion. Most of Cutler's completions were dinks and he only went deep once that I can remember.

As far as losses go at least it was to a non-division, non-conference team.

Great win and a much needed win for the Bears. Reed will be back. That field is a mess. Pitt fans are all class and they will be tough to beat all year long.
