Game Thread W2 - Pittsburgh V Cleveland (1 Viewer)

5:00 left, at the Steeler 26. Down 10-3. Do you run the hurry up to try to score quickly and get the ball back, or milk the clock and play for OT?

I don't think they are in a hurry. Sure looked like he got hit before the ball was there.

:goodposting: I think even Bray is so used to dropping the ball, he doesn't even put up a fight to the refs when there IS pass interference. Ugh... the kids confidence is shattered and its only week 2? Crap.

I hate the onside kick too. The field is wet and there's an increased likelihood the Steelers may muff a conventional kick. By doing an onside kick, you just made it easier to recover it AND give them good field position to start.

That wasn't an onside kick.

Crennel has got to be worried about his job right now.
How so? They have played 2 of the top 5 or 7 teams in the league now. The defense looked pretty good tonight except for the DBs on a couple of plays. If anything they looked much better tonight.

I know that I didn't want to waste time trying to distinguish the difference between that and a conventional kick...

You usually are good at backpedaling. This isn't one of those times.

You've gotta be kidding me. You are going to kick the FG here?
They have to. The defense has played well enough to give them a shot at a last drive.
Seriously??? If they go for it and miss their defense can still get them the ball back. A FG does nothing for them.
A FG gives them a chance at the win.
Your logic is very bad...
K.
