You haven't scored a TD all game, you take it whenever you can get it.5:00 left, at the Steeler 26. Down 10-3. Do you run the hurry up to try to score quickly and get the ball back, or milk the clock and play for OT?
I don't think they are in a hurry. Sure looked like he got hit before the ball was there.5:00 left, at the Steeler 26. Down 10-3. Do you run the hurry up to try to score quickly and get the ball back, or milk the clock and play for OT?
They have to. The defense has played well enough to give them a shot at a last drive. You've gotta be kidding me. You are going to kick the FG here?
McFadden had position.I don't think they are in a hurry. Sure looked like he got hit before the ball was there.5:00 left, at the Steeler 26. Down 10-3. Do you run the hurry up to try to score quickly and get the ball back, or milk the clock and play for OT?
No. If anything, the DB had position, and Edwards ran into him going for the ball.Edwards was hit early on that play.

I think even Bray is so used to dropping the ball, he doesn't even put up a fight to the refs when there IS pass interference. Ugh... the kids confidence is shattered and its only week 2? Crap.It isn't right. There isn't even an argument you can make for it being remotely close to being right. Why is that the right call as Madden and Michaels said?
Madden is a jackass. There is no way that is the right move. If you were down 6 yes, down 7, NO WAY!Why is that the right call as Madden and Michaels said?
I have no idea. If you fail on 4th down you need to get the ball back and score a TD. If you hit the FG you are in the exact same position. Why is that the right call as Madden and Michaels said?
Seriously??? If they go for it and miss their defense can still get them the ball back. A FG does nothing for them. They have to. The defense has played well enough to give them a shot at a last drive. You've gotta be kidding me. You are going to kick the FG here?
So clearly, you do have an idea.I have no idea. If you fail on 4th down you need to get the ball back and score a TD. If you hit the FG you are in the exact same position. Why is that the right call as Madden and Michaels said?
It's absolutely right. The defense has held, they have all 3 time outs. Hold Pitt to 3 and out and they are driving for the win rather than the tie. 4th and 7 is too long to risk.It isn't right. There isn't even an argument you can make for it being remotely close to being right. Why is that the right call as Madden and Michaels said?
That wasn't an onside kick.I hate the onside kick too. The field is wet and there's an increased likelihood the Steelers may muff a conventional kick. By doing an onside kick, you just made it easier to recover it AND give them good field position to start.
EXACTLY. If you trust your defense then going for 4th down is STILL no problem.Seriously??? If they go for it and miss their defense can still get them the ball back. A FG does nothing for them. They have to. The defense has played well enough to give them a shot at a last drive. You've gotta be kidding me. You are going to kick the FG here?
How so? They have played 2 of the top 5 or 7 teams in the league now. The defense looked pretty good tonight except for the DBs on a couple of plays. If anything they looked much better tonight.Crennel has got to be worried about his job right now.

I know that I didn't want to waste time trying to distinguish the difference between that and a conventional kick...That wasn't an onside kick.I hate the onside kick too. You usually are good at backpedaling. This isn't one of those times.I know that I didn't want to waste time trying to distinguish the difference between that and a conventional kick...That wasn't an onside kick.I hate the onside kick too. Your logic is very bad...A FG gives them a chance at the win.Seriously??? If they go for it and miss their defense can still get them the ball back. A FG does nothing for them. They have to. The defense has played well enough to give them a shot at a last drive. You've gotta be kidding me. You are going to kick the FG here?
