Looks like the Pats are going to be fun to watch this year. Nobody can stop them, and they can't stop anyone. Should be lots of fantasy points.

Oh he's playing. However he has no targets and it looks like Rivers hasn't even looked at him yet. Doubled on some plays as well. At this point he looks like a decoy.As a Gates owner I'm watching him closely but nothing to see here so far.....

Like I said the WRs are pretty much running free and they're focusing on gates. RBs are playing very well and SD needs to try and keep their D off the field as long as possible.

Gates was not on the field from the time you asked until this post, probably because the chargers were on d. Gates is on the field, though, and after blocking on the last play, motioned to the slot on this one.

Tolbert is without question the best RB in SD. He just literally lowered his pad level to the ground to break a tackle.

He's got great balance, and that was a great hit, but Mathews' is by far a better pure runner, w/o question.

Tolbert is a fine situational guy, But Matthews is the better RB by a mile.

They did a breakdown of Gates before that drive and I kid you not Patrick Chung is shutting him down by being physical at the LoS.(with a little help on the backside IMO)

Sure, but how could SD not be covering the sidelines knowing the Pats were out of TOs? The Pats did the most obvious thing to do in that situation and SD just let them.
