The chargers are faking injuries every other play to slow down the no huddle, and it leads to a stop on the pats second drive (a made field goal, but on a good looking drive deep in the red zone).Patriots called for roughing the passer on a throwaway and gronk got nabbed on a ticky tack holding call earlier, while the chargers went at bradys knee on an early play and twisted it after he had gotten rid of the ball, but no call there. You guys can keep whining about calls now.

Sure, but how could SD not be covering the sidelines knowing the Pats were out of TOs? The Pats did the most obvious thing to do in that situation and SD just let them.

Not exactly, the Bolts were defending the long pass. I think I'd do the same and expect them to run out of time. Brady is just a stud.

That was horrendous Defense is what it was. You KNOW they aren't throwing to the middle or more than 10 yards down field, and you give Branch a 15 yard cushion? complete idiocy.

they were at midfield, you have your DBs cover the sidelines because they are clearly going to try for a FG. leaving them THAT open was just horrific coaching.

Exactly. And it seems like that is their gameplan. I mean, who are the deep threats? Ocho? Chargers need to press them at the line and take some chances instead of letting Brady have whatever he wants short and intermediate. Not only because it's working for the Pats, but also because it allows the Pats to chew up the clock on long drives... down 20-7, the Chargers can't allow that to continue.
