Game Thread W3 - Cleveland V Baltimore (1 Viewer)

ARRRRGHHHHHH!

Someone needs to punch Rob Ryan in the nuts. How many times are you going to let Boldin waltz in for an open score?

I don't think this is all the Browns secondary, btw. Flacco is on fire. Great ball on that TD.

Nice open field tackle by a 330 lb NT on Ray Rice. I lol'd.On the penalty... I honestly thought Smith was just drawn across from the false start, then they got started. I didn't see him trying to fight at first, just starting his rush. Maybe that's the Browns homer in me talking.
Smith was pushing a little too much, but Oher escalated it.

Kay. I'm worried about Rice. Whether he's playing well or not, I think they're just going to have Flacco chuck it as much as possible.

Would've loved to see Boldin get his 4th there, but I think that was a good no-call on Ward.
Agreed. Browns took a lot of flak for grabbing Ward in the 2nd, but he's been a beast so far. Reminds me of Antoine Winfield a bit, in the sense that he seems to get his nose into every play, and hits hard out of the secondary. He does worry me when they have him in coverage vs a guy like Boldin, but he did a pretty good job there.

I was "watching" this game on NFL.com.... did that seriously just happen? Aside from wasting 2 TOs earlier in the half in a close game - you have them 3rd and 4 with a CHANCE of getting the ball back and you get a neutral zone infraction?!

WOW. Rob Ryan must be pissed. Glad we have Rex instead of Mangenius though :bag:

Good game, Browns. As a Ravens fan, I know how one too many mistakes can cost you the game. Wallace was very good & at least 11 Ravens are going to be spending extra time in the whirlpool due to that heathen hellbeast Hillis.

Good game Ravenites.

I have to say... I don't think Browns are as bad as their rep. We've now lost 3 games by an average of 4 points, to teams that are now a collective 8-1. :bag:

But looking at our schedule, it's likely to get worse before it gets better.

You guys have also had 2nd half leads in all 3 if I'm not mistaken. I'm not saying that to rub it in, but that Cleveland has been competitive. They are better than I thought and they played hard.

Where was Mohamed Massaquoi? 1 target? Recap blamed Wallace not looking his way, homer thoughts?

Cribbs was abusing Chris Carr along the sideline and got almost all of the downfield looks.Very tough game by the Brownies in a hostile environment. There haven't been many teams the past decade to rip the Ratbirds front seven like that. To repeat the obvious, Boldin saved the day for Baltimore.
