Game Thread W4 - New Orleans V Carolina (1 Viewer)

Bush still doesn't realize that the NFL >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Pac 10

He is an excellent receiver out of the backfield, a mediocre RB (as of now), and a poor returner

Miscue on a draw from Brees to Bush, hard to tell whose fault it was, but there were 3 huge holes for Bush to take off

Brees is a helluva leader. Easiest the best FA acquisition of the offseason.
I know Carney missed the FG anyway, but Brees realizing Colston was on the line and making him back up before the spike is the only reason they even had a chance at the FG. It would've been a 5-yard penalty (taking them to the 35) and time run off the clock. 52 yd. FG as opposed to the 43-yarder. I loved watching this guy when I was living in L.A. and I love watching him now that I'm in LA.

exactly...enough of him on first down inside the 10. deuce has proven himself a more than capable short yardage back.

Surprised I haven't seen this mentioned but Bush hasn't seen the field in quite a while (Stecker has been in lately)...is he hurt?

EDIT: Looks like he's back in now a couple drives later.

EDIT2: Just for one play, Stecker back in now.

He's been on the field as a wideout. He was split out left on the last play, for instance.
Lots of PT for Stecker today including the 2 minute drill at the end of the half and on 3rd down, while Reggie stands on the sideline.

That was definitely a dirty hit. He didn't trip.
Watch Fujita's left leg - he slips and falls. I'm DVRing it right now - it wasn't on purpose it doesn't appear.
:goodposting: They kept replaying the clip where Fujita was falling before he entered the field of view. If you rewind and play the one clip that showed the whole play he clearly slipped and fell into Smith. This talk of a cheap shot is BS. It's like calling Peppers hit on Brees a cheap shot. It's the NFL, contact happens. Get over it.

Hurry up TD for the Panthers in the 1st, Hurry up TD for the Saints in the 4th.

Saints lead 10-7 and have been dominating the stats all game. We'll see if the Panthers can respond, I guess.

Looks like the NFL is still giving to Nawlins.... pass interference on 4th down? WTF?
 What about Keyshawn's non-catch that directly led to the TD???
Why didnt Nawlins review the catch then?Where was that latest PI on Nawlins on this drive here? :bye:
This all comes down to the Reggie Bush fumble. I don't know how the refs can award the ball to the Panthers when they didn't recover it until well after they were blowing the whistle.

Drew Brees with over 1400 passing yards and 5 TDs against 2 INTs in four games this season. That's a lot better than most of us expected, I think.

Because they used their first challenge the play before. If they used their last one in the 1st quater they could need it at the end of the game.
