GO PACKERS!

... and Brewers! Yesterday's game was amazing, wish I was going to today's game too. Great day for Wisconsin sports!

I think Rodgers is hurt more than people are leading on the playcalling shows it none of his passes look crisp. Why didn't they just sit him for this game.

Starting when injured to the detriment of the team? He did learn something from Favre after all.

Bullseye on a 44 yard TD pass to Driver. No other way to describe a perfectly threaded needle between two converging defenders. Great catch by Driver too, who was shaken up afterwards.

He's up - I would bet he got the wind knocked out of him

22 Yard TD to Roddy White...

Roddy White covered by Will Blackmon(former college teammate of Ryan)

Not a college football fan, i guess?
Wisconsin doesn't play today, they played yesterday. I said great DAY, not great weekend... Both teams look pretty bad today. Green Bay's D is awful, and Supan blew it early. Ah well, it could be worse, I could be a Cubs fan

Wonder what Thompson is thinking as he sees "his" team not as good as he figured it would be. Not saying this is all due to the "Favre factor" but defenses sure do not treat the Packers QB the same way as if Favre would be behind center.

Wow...wow...wow.

Some of you can say what you want about Rodgers...but he has been hurting and making some nice throws.

Not watching this live, but Grant's stat line looks good today. He looking as good as his line suggests?

I can see that the years of watching Brett play has helped him into throwing into triple coverage.

:goodposting:
Yes...that was not a good throw.Does that negate what I said earlier? Not really. Thanks for that attempt though.
I guess you missed the incompletion to a wide open Jennings in the first half.
and that negates it?
He did make some nice throws and he made some poor throws. Meanwhile....the Packers have now lost 3 games in a row. Roll your eyes at that, TT Lover.

That throw really hurt the Packers and one of the reasons that cost the Packers the game.
No doubt...and you don't see me trying to excuse that throw either. My point was made long before that throw...and my latest little pet decided to come in to try and talk trash to me for some reason. Not sure the obsession that about 3 people on this board have with me though.

Yes...he made some poor throws...as every QB in the league makes every single week.Yes, they have lost...lets not put that all on Rodgers. Might want to look at the defense that simply has been getting toasted on the ground all year long.Though, at least some of you don't have Grant to whine about today. And what does any of what I said in here have to do with Ted Thompson?Or are you just trying to bash me because you enjoy that?Might want to try just having an adult discussion rather than trying to make everything personal with me.

Your point was made and then proven wrong. There was no trash talking involved so deal with it.

That's two games in a row with a huge interception that killed the game.
I think plenty of things killed the game last week as well. That one this week did put the nail in the coffin. As did the D's inability to stop Turner early and late in the game.

That INT put the defense in that position late in the game.
That INT did...so did the kickoff return that led to a FG.The D simply did not stop Turner much of the day...or do you think its a good outing to allow 121 rushing by him?Look at their numbers this year...they are not stopping the run at all.Again...I have not even tried to excuse that INT...it cost them the game in the end.As did a missed FG.Lets not put it all on Rodgers here...because, simply put, that would be dishonest.I never put the Giants game all on Favre either. You will see, I am very consistent in this.

I was glued to the Tivo the whole game. GO FALCONS! Holy smack, Ryan had one rookie moment on the intercepted fade, but rarely looked like a rookie in that game. Got a lot of monkey's off our back here:

Road win

Road TD

Dominant running on the road.

Ended all talk of only being able to beat bottom of the barrel teams.

What a freaking great game. I am thrilled to admit that i was completely, totally, dead wrong on Ryan. Not that I didn't like him, just didn't think he was worth his draft spot. This kid is 100% the real deal.

I'll also own up to not wanting to draft Ryan. Amazing composure he has out there no matter the situation or pressure he is under.

Reading thru this thread. Anyone blaming this on Rodgers is mistaken, IMO. He played really, really well. Absolutely picked apart our secondary in the middle of the field, and threw the deep ball well. He was obviously hurt, but still made the deep throws and played thru the pain. Those that want to continuously compare him to Favre need to look and see how Favre did in HIS 5th NFL start.

The Packers beat Detroit 27-13 in Favre's 5th start. Favre was 22 for 27 with 2TDs and no interceptions.
Touche.I was attempting to state that Favre didn't exactly light the world on fire in his first year, and picked, quite possibly, the worst example ever.

Not really.....his 10th start against the Lions that season he threw for 3 Tds and no INTs as the Packers won 38-10. :yes:Congrats on the Falcons win today!!!
