and just like that the rams are on the board.

donnie avery beat a slow anthony henry, just a repeat of the last game with steve breaston

anyone watching the game give some color to the avery TD? Was it a blown assignment or just a great route/catch?

thanks, and here I thought the secondary was not going to be an issue this season....better start dialing up the pressure...

And I just remember that Dallas has a new punter after last week's injury on that block in overtime...he gets off a 36-yard punt from the end zone.

one thing that didn't get much media attention but obviously is hige is the injury to macbriar...I see the new guy just kicked it 36 yards OOB.....fantastic.....and we go get another WR....

bulger threw a td to avery. jenkins had the inside covered but got turned around. and bulger had the confidence to throw it.

got called back on a penalty

Jackson with back to back nice runs, one for a td. The td run was a great cutback.

As I say that Johnson is picked.

Rams with the ball in the RZ. Get Romo back in!

ugh, rams got pressure BJ got it quickly out to MB3 in the middle. barber runs straight for the first down, but gets hit from the back and fumbles.

play under review, but it's a fumble

That is very close. I think the ball might have been coming out just before his knee hit, but it is hard to tell. Wouldn't be surprised if it is overturned, but it might be too close to overturn.

Dallas finally holds (thanks to a fumbled snap that pushed the Rams back), and Rams miss a 55-yard FG short.

At least it's a start.

It wasn't short; it was wide right. Bulger killed that drive. He bumbled the first down snap leading to an easy sack for Ware, and then he held the ball too long on 3rd resulting in another sack.

This Rams team is really responding to Jim Haslett, it seems. Whodathunkit?
I thought they would. The prior coach was simply horrific. The players probably feel like this is a second chance and will get to do the things they feel like will work. They also have little to no pressure as does Haslett.

I guess you can say the players have nothing to lose here, but I wouldn't say that Haslett is without pressure. Word is that if he leads the Rams to a 6-6 record the rest of the way, he gets a 2009 extension. And today's win would give him 2 wins towards that total.I never liked the guy personally, but I guess the guy can coach. Linehan was too much of a wuss.
