Game Thread W7 - Dallas V St.Louis (1 Viewer)

jenkins just got very lucky. avery ran a go from the outside, inside rams wr ran a post. jenkins lost the ball in the air? or something but he went to cover the inside wr. luckily bulger threw it a little bit too long. avery couldn't bring it in.

I thought Witten would have been used more here. I am getting tired of watching the cowgirls force it to Owens.

just threw up a sideline pass, go or fade, to roy. but couldn't connect pass was a lofty pass out of bounds.

got to have abetter QB than Brad Johnson. A;l, he has to do is at least check it down to barber and he won't even do that - he actually thinks he can still throw;.

Can't believe the loss of Pac Man Jones has affected the 'Boys this much.
It's not that Pacman was playing extraordinarily well. Mike Jenkins is just playing extraordinarily bad. This guy hasn't shown anything to justify his draft position so far.

Keith Davis just knocked Derrick Stanley out COLD on the field (blocking on a PR). Scary moment as he was laying on the field for several minutes, but is walking off under his own power.

Wade Phillips had better get his resume ready; for a team with as much talent as the Cowboys have to be playing this poorly, even with the injuries they have, is inexcusable.

Wade probably needs to go. But Jason Garrett is also not the answer, imo. Garrett may be a good offensive coordinator, I'm still not so sure of that though because it looks like defenses have caught up to him. But also Garrett just doesn't look like the kind of coach that commands discipline in a team to eliminate all those penalties and miscues. Bill Cowher anyone? haha

The issue is this Dallas defense....plain and simple and the Oline's failure to protect the QB.

The issue is the entire team is in a funk, from offense, defense, special teams, coaching. In Jimmy Johnson's day, somebody would have been fired weeks ago to light a fire under the team's butt. It starts with a coach that commands respect and discipline.

Good thing the Cowboys got another WR with all those draft picks.
That was actually a very good move. They had been trying to get RW for the past two years. RW wasn't brought in to right this sinking ship, he was brought in for the next 5+ years. Why draft a wide receiver and have to invest 3+ years into him to get him to a startable level when you could go out and get a young veteran like RW to replace TO in your offense in the coming years?

Because you need defense.
