You may consider it unjustified but it's far from unclassy. Short of him going to Chicago he knew what he was getting into. I kinda consider it like the awareness I believe Cowher has in the Browns/Steelers rivalry and why he didn't go there in the offseason.

No not at all but it is personal. The Packers are the only thing Green Bay has. Why wouldn't that town consider the team like watching a family member? His intentions in going to Minnesota I don't believe is 100% wanting to win a Superbowl. Part of him I'm sure wants to prove GB wrong and spite the team. He is arrogant which is part of why is great but also why he is hated. It comes with the territory of what I believe is the case of him thinking that he created (rejuvinated) it and he can take it apart and do it for someone else.

That's the thing though. I think a BIG reason he went to Minnesota had nothing to do with Ted Thompson or the Packers organization at all. Minnesota/Childress basically runs "Packers West" on offense. AKA Favre didn't need to learn a new system/offense...he could slide right in and go. Now if the Vikings outlook was probably more like the Rams or the Lions, he wouldn't have come back. However, it was the SYSTEM that brought him back, as much as (more maybe more than) anything to do with the Pack. IMHO.BTW, ADP!

He went there because McCarthy HATED his guts. Thompson wanted Favre back but McCarthy would have quit. He went to Vikings because he was best friends with the coaches and they wanted him to be their starter. No other player in the league including Peyton Manning and Tom Brady would have done anything different.

I remember when Jason Taylor this offseason saying how he just couldn't see himself going to New England or New York. The players are very much aware of the feelings of the fans and the rivalry between teams. It isn't all about money and it's still a game that you have to have passion for to be good at. Favre, to me at least, seems very, very intelligent and plays off of the gee shucks southern boy schtick. I think he knew the ramifications and the feelings that would happen about the move. So why in the hell shouldn't he be boo'ed. He was Green Bay... he defined the town.

Bradshaw is a notorious whiner. Favre wasn't wholey innocent like you are implying. Favre didn't want to participate in training camp... hasn't for 3 years now. Honestly it upsets me as a fan but thats the Vikings FO and coaching staffs perogative to let that happen. We'll see if they like it when he tries to pull it off next year.

That is the dumbest assumption I've ever heard. It makes no sense as there is no reward for the player. You risk more in your career by getting eaten alive by Jared Allen than you do throwing the ball away.

I think McCarthy is a pretty great offense mind, but these penalties are ridiculous. Part of it is on Thompson for insisting on always having the youngest team in the league, but every game the Packers have some of the most inexcusable penalties. At a certain point, as the coach, you have to fix it and stop saying "We'll get that fixed". They were lucky to stop them.

I am watching the game. He's getting stuffed a lot, but this is standard fare for ADP, the majority of his runs are short with a few long bursts. I understand you're just doing your standard shtick though, so don't let me interrupt your trolling. By the way, did you drop Brees yet?

His o-line simply isn't blocking for him most of the time. On that 4th and 1, there was no way in hell he could get that 1st down. The line was completely clogged and two yards behind the 1st down marker.On another note, Rodgers makes Jennings completely worthless this year. Dude can't throw him a decent pass.
