Game Thread W8 - New England at Minnesota (1 Viewer)

You know when you are up by 4 scores against a team that hasn't done anything on offense and you are still chucking the ball down the field 30-40 yards---karma might have a little lesson in store for you.

Brady needs to not see another minute in this game if they are smart....
3 TD's + 3 two-point conversions = 3 scores, not 4

Just tuned in, haven't had a chance to read the whole thread. Man it looks like NE is getting reamed by the officials? What's with a helmet to the back then a ticky tack holding call on a nice 3rd down play???????
Never mind, it looks like NE can still tackle by the face mask.My mistake

If the Vikings were smart, they'd pretend the score was zero-zero and see what Bollinger can do in a straight up game situation. This "seven steps, stop drop and roll" offense is going to get the kid killed.

True but when they aren't even getting a first down.....

I don't like the Bears but I hope they knock the snot out of these arrogant pats. This is ridiculous that Brady is still in shotgun mode.

Yeah, because somebody's feelings might get hurt  /Viking's homer

And to think people were giving the Bears hell for going for it on 4th and goal on the 2. The Pats are still in shotgun?

I have no problem with the Patriots still trying to score, but to continue to have Brady back in the shotgun and taking sacks IS pretty dumb.

Belichick is a genius and all but if Brady got hurt in that last series, he'd have an awful lot of explaining to do...

OMG THEY'RE PASSING TOO MUCH... OMG THEY'RE GOING FOR IT ON 4TH DOWN!

this isn't church league pee wees, or football amongst friends... find a way to stop the team if you want them to quit passing.

okay, you won the the game... you need Brady to have any chance at the playoffs/superbowl... what the hell are you doing having him in the game (i like belichek but this is horrible coaching)

It's actually not even so much arrogant as it is stupid. If Brady gets hurt, there goes the season......

IIRC, the Bears went for it on 4th and 1 at the 49ers 2 (or so) when they were up 41-0. That's ridicu;ous.

Yeah THAT.....or run the ball, end the game, and prevent the injury of you best player to ever live Brady.

I didn't mind the play action bomb on third and short but I agree with the masses here. Keeping Brady in the shotgun to take on the heavy rush seems really dumb with the game well in hand.
