Game Thread W9 - Dallas V Green Bay (1 Viewer)

It's time to stop using Barber to start the game. When your first offensive series involves Barber you're limiting any potential momentum drives. It's always 3 and out because BARBER CAN'T RUN THE FOOTBALL.

I don't get this at ALL. Wade is riding Barber down with his job. He's gonna stay with his guy to the very day of his firing. He's loyal, even if stupid and inept.
 
Someone explain to me what happens after a block FG like that?

If no Cowboy touches it and a Packer picks it up at the 20 yard line, its Cowboys ball at spot of kick right?

If so then that is another strike against Cowboys coaching squad not preparing players

Barber is a hard runner, but he is just not meant to be a workhorse. Let Jones and Choice get the majority of the carries.

Does it really matter at this point? The coaches have had at least 50 strikes thus far in the season.
 
That shouldn't be a touchdown. I clearly saw one of the Cowboys defenders pull Jackson's flag.

At the U, Shields never made an impact as a WR, so Randy Shanon switched him to DB because he had great speed. In his senior year, he was a liability as a CB, so I'd be concerned about him covering Austin all night.
 
Brandon Jackson looks pretty good to me.

Decisive with his cuts when there's room to run, pretty good balance. Had enough speed to outrun Ware to the edge.

Packer homers, has he improved this season?

Believe me, I know. HE has been very inconsistent, as can be expected. COwboys got the matchup they wanted with Shields on Austin, but Kitna threw short.

He has seemed to gain confidence as the season has gone on. I think he should get even more carries.
 
wheres choice???? probally sitting at home laughing away at this joke of a team!!!!!!!!! hope he gets traded so he can show us what he really is capable of

The bolded is key IMO.He simply hasn't had a lot of big holes to run through and the Packers just don't run enough to increase those odds. He seems the same to me. :suds:

 
Doesnt matter who is running the ball for Dallas...the offensive line cant hold a block. If Barber goes to another team, he will be a 1,000 yard back again. Not Barber's fault. This o-line has to be the worst in the NFL.
