Game Thread W9 - Green Bay V Buffalo (1 Viewer)

Hoping it isn't, but assuming it is bad, is Anthony Thomas going to get the carries then? Or Shaud Williams?

 
that really sucks for mcgahee, he was quietly putting up another solid year. Id say thomas will get the majority of the carries if mcgahee is out for anything more then the rest of this game. Played well in preseason and in his relief of mcgahee this year. he's still young, was jaurons RB while in chicago.. Hopefully its nothing serious for mcgahee and he'll be ok..

 
You know, I hope he's ok, but for God's sake that guy is a FANTASY NIGHTMARE. Seriously time to put him out to pasture from my team.

 
The play before the injury, he looked like he was going into the endzone, and got tripped up by a showlace at the 10.

Must be a Karma thing.

Ugh! The unfortunate downsides to prop plays: Had McGahee Over 12.5 yards more than Ahman Green. So much for that.Second time I've been screwed in a prop by an injury (last one was two weeks ago when I took Hasselbeck passing yards over Brad Johnson).Oh well. I hope McGahee is OK and it's nothing too serious that will shorten his season.
 
Any chance McGahee returns or was he a complete mess when he was carted off?

Of course, being carted off should indicate his condition anyway.

Favre in shotgun, snap came early and Favre wasn't expecting it. Off his face mask Troy Williamson style. Buf recovers fumble and take a knee to end the half.

Willis McGahee injured his ribs Sunday. He was carted off to the locker room and has been declared out for the rest of the game.

McGahee picked up 15 yards on four carries before being dropped for a three-yard loss in the red zone during the first quarter. He needed to be helped to the sidelines and was favoring his side badly. McGahee had his ribs X-rayed in the locker room, but no further info has been given. Anthony Thomas and Shaud Williams are next on the depth chart.

 
Commentators showed video of the Bills medical staff looking at his ribs.

And the whol Bills offense looks bad. Somone should tell the Bills O if I know they're going to run left everytime, the Packers D probably knows too.

 
Manuel knocked out with a helmet to the knee. Both saftiess out.

Backup safety call the wrong definse and Lee Evans runs all by himself to the goal line. TD.

 
Packers simply cannot play offense in the redzone. Here comes the "Favre needs to retire" talk. Not a terrible change from the recent "Favre still has it" talk.

 
nice D play by the Bills...tipped pass picked off by Ko Simpson who had a huge return, but Favre saved him from going 100+ yards for a TD.

 
I dont understand why the Packers just dont pound it when they get close. Same situations last week and they try to throw it in with a quick slant.
