Game Thread W9 - Tampa Bay V New Orleans (1 Viewer)

Alright, 1 score game now
2 scores still. Why didn't they go for 2 there?
I'm a go for two every time type of guy... but I can see why a coach would take the PAT there and worry about the 2 *IF* they come to that point later... they'd have even more momentum and confidence then than they do right now.
I know why they do it. It's just dumb. You go for it on the first touchdown and then you know if you need 2 scores or just 1. Now they don't really know.

mmmmm... you know you need to score either way... if you blow it there you're gonna deflate the whole team knowing that they need 2 scoring possessions. Keeping it within 8 (wether that's considered 2 scores or not) is very important for team morale.

I know that's why they don't go for 2 down 9. Because people think 8 is only 1 possession. However, if they are down 8 and score and don't get the 2, have they planned for that? At least if you miss it down 9, you know you need 2 more possessions and can plan accordingly. It's not a huge error, but it is an error. I bet you Belicheck would go for 2 down 9 with less than 10 minutes left in the game.

if belicheck goes for 2 in that case, he is wrong.

Thomas looks so much better than Ivory. Surprised how much they're mixing him in. I guess Payton is determined to stick to the 3-headed attack one way or another.

Holding, negates Sproles TD
robbed
There have been some ticky-tack calls in the early games so far.:BaldwinOwner:
What happened with Baldwin (and which one)?
Garbage time TD wiped out by questionable push-off. He kinda nudged the DB with his hand and cut inside for the underthrown ball.
(2:29) (No Huddle, Shotgun) 7-M.Cassel pass deep left to 89-J.Baldwin for 33 yards, TOUCHDOWN NULLIFIED by Penalty. PENALTY on KC-89-J.Baldwin, Offensive Pass Interference, 10 yards, enforced at MIA 33 - No Play.
