Game Thread Week 4 - Cincinnati V Cleveland (1 Viewer)

Browns homers, what happens when Jamal comes back? Will Harrison have any value when he's active? How serious is his injury?
I'd get Harrison. JLew is not going to be a 20 carry a game back this year. Wouldn't be suprised if he fights the injury bug all year anyways.

only thing worse than watching the browns offense is watching the browns offense try and run a 2 minute drill

Who called these goal line plays for Cincy? Horrible
I feel sorry for Bengal fans. They just don't do the little things.Coles is IMO the worst free agent pick up this year. The guy has been worse than worthless through 4 games, with drops and bad routes.Another nice snap for Brad St Louis. Why is he still on the team?
I absolutely agree with every bit of that. I was just saying the same thing. It is ridiculous. Coles is pathetic and keeping that snapper is just stupid. Even with the bad playing by the Bengals today they would still be up 4 at the end and not in OT right now if not for him. The only thing I can say about being a Bengals fan is that after a while you get used to it.
Unfortunately, that's what happens when your owner is also your head scout and your personnel guy. Pretty obvious that Mike Brown is in way over his head and that things will never change as long as he is the owner.

Yep. The worst part is that when Mike Brown is no longer the owner it will be his daughter Katie :goodposting: .

Why is Mike Furrey playing DB for the Browns?

Palmer 1 for 10 in OT so far.

how on earth did cinci beat Pittsburgh last week? both of these teams are terrible.
No Polamalu, no running game, and Pitt's O Line mailed it in last week.Pitt still should've won the game but choked late.Bengal's D is decent, but man their O is not looking sharp this year.

Could they actually review this and call the game a tie?? The refs looked to each other for the call, seemingly like that had no idea if the FG was good or not.

holy crap that looked wide right.
I was cursing when I saw it. Surprised it was not reviewed - but everyone on the field - on both teams - seemed to think it was good.
The camera was not centered on the field goal...it seemed to be to the right, giving the impression that it wasn't a good FG. Damn Cleveland people can't even build a staduim that holds a camera right behind the field goal.

I think the long snapper might have played his last game for the Bengals. Not sure where you find one of those on teh practice squad though.

St. Louis has been there forever. The holder is also an issue. He is a rookie punter. A more experienced holder would get most of those snaps down and in place.

So according to Carson Palmer, with a minute to go in OT, and facing 4th and 11 at around the Cleveland 41, Marvin Lewis wanted to punt? You have got to be kidding. That would be like conceding that you will be happy with a tie. Shoot, even if they go for it and don't get it, the Browns still have to go approximately 30 yards in a minute to get a decent FG chance. Thank goodness for Bengals fans that Palmer and the offense talked Lewis into going for it. I hate it when coaches are gutless like that. :lmao:

I saw the interaction on the sidelines - Palmer was visibly disgusted with the decision - rightfully so. I know Lewis was worried about the kicking game, but punting should have been the last hing on his mind. Too conservative imo. Good team play to win, rather than not to lose.
