Game Thread Week 4 - Detroit V Chicago (1 Viewer)

I dont know if the Bears D is just screwing up or if Stafford is the next brady.
From a Detroit fan who did not want the Lions to take him, he looks very good. He has really improved every week. That being said there is still a lot of room for improvement. He has missed a lot of big plays when his accuracy is off a bit. Once he gets the touch down, especially on intermediate to long throws, he may be a very good QB. No question he has all the physical tools.

so we allow 3 tds to the lions in the 1st half? seriously? embarrassing. on the other hand, we scored 3tds which may be just as amazing. not sure how i feel about this. detroit has really turned things around

I don't know why Anthony Henry was so maligned in Dallas....he's been really solid for Detroit this year...and Larry Foote has been a huge upgrade too. It's so nice to see Detroit players actually tackle someone in the open field. And so sad that we Lions fans are so easily satisfied with seeing basic fundamentals

well unless cutler can work some of his week 1 magic and throw a couple of picks this one looks to be over. Chicago D has awoken and Lions are stalled.

Nice day for Calvin though. hopefully Kevin Smith can get some garbage yards to go with those tds.

Lions completely falling apart in the second half. Schwartz will need to learn quickly how to make halftime adjustments, cause he's not making any.

Boy Pettigrew is a beast. I'm loving his potential. having he and calvin makes all the difference in the world.

Lol, those announcers are some kind of airheads. They showed the replay of the sack like 4 times and never commented on Stafford very openly grabbing his knee and screaming in pain afterwards. It wasn't until like 5 minutes later that they finally mentioned he limped off the field and was being looked at on the sidelines.

The Bears special teams coach deserves to be paid like a bad HC...that unit is amazing regardless of the man returning kicks/punts...

Olsen...what a stud! pfft.

Is that guy not open, dropping passes or is Cutler missing him? Brutal stat line, save for that huge 1-yard TD

crap horsecollar call...he grabbed the front of his shoulder pad for cryin out loud. Why do NFL officials have to suck so much? every week there are awful calls on both sides of every game. it can't be THAT hard can it?

Pretty pumped about all of this. Never thought I would ever see a Bears offense like this. Kickass. If you had told me at the beginning of the season that we would be 3-1 at this point, I'd be extremely happy. Hell yeah

As for the Lions, I feel good that they are improving, and so should the fans. You actually have something to look forward to now. The team is playing with some passion for the first time in a long while. congrats
