If you think the only reason the Pats beat Indy the last two years was the weather, you are sadly mistaken. The Pats have won their last 3 trips to Indy. Remember? Edge on 4th down from the 1? Does that ring a bell? How about Brady's first year as a starter. David Patten with a TD running, receiving and passing. I think the Pats won by about 25 that day.
Ok, the games above were 2 and 4 years ago. They have nothing to do with next week. Well Brady started both of those games. He doesnt think he can win in INDY, he KNOWS it. He has done it.
I am not predicting a Patriots victory but I cannot wait for that game. Indy will NOT walk all over NE. I can guarantee you that. The Patriots are a different team from the one that got crushed in Foxboro earlier this year.
Different Colts team this year. Don't get too excited to play them Pats fans. We would prefer a Steeler upset, but you gotta face who you get. Denver is a great team too, so who knows. Play ball I guess.
Much as it would be fun as a Patriot's fan to watch them beat Indy next week, I'd still rather have Pittsburg beat Cincinnati, then either beat up or beat Indy. I'm no fool - the Patriot's best chance at getting back to the Superbowl is against Denver and then a playoff game at home, or away against a drained Indy team that doesn't have an extra week of rest behind them. Denver is a good team, I just think Indy is better.GG
We'll just have to see huh?The Jags are playing like a bunch of scared little girls, just like I expected them to. Don't get too confident based on this game. Actually, go ahead and get confident, so I can laugh at you later.
Little buddy? Whatever you say there, Skippah. The Pats tend to make their playoff opponents play like, as you call it, scared little girls. I wouldn't hold your breath for the opportunity to laugh at the fans of the 2-time defending champs.Brady did not have a great game and they still beat the mighty Jags handily.
PS - you may want the Professor to invent some hope for whichever sorry ### team you bandwagon.
Denver is a great team (look at their record and their schedule) and while I do think that Indy is a little better overall, the Patriots historically play better against the Colts than they do against the Broncos, so if I were a NE fan, I would be rooting for Cincinnati today. Getting Indy when they might be rusty would seem to give the Patriots the best chance at winning next week.

I can't speak for all NE fans but I tend to dissagree and will be rooting for Pitt. First, whether NE plays @Indy or @Den it will be a very difficult game for NE either way. But if NE can go to Den and somehow win they would then have at least a chance of hosting the AFCC. Even if Pitt fails to beat Indy I would expect the Steelers physical style of play to take it's toll on the less physical Colts. In other words I would rather see NE play the Colts after they have been softened up a bit by the Steelers

Did you watch the Colts/Steelers game this season? I ask because Indy outhit and were more physical than the Steelers in that game, which was shocking to me. I think this perception that the Colts are a soft team that doesn't like being hit is just that...a perception. As a NE fan, if you would rather play Denver first, I can understand that, though. I just think that given that NE is historically more successful against Indy than against Denver (especially in recent years), that a lot of Patriots fans would take a game against the Colts next week first.
