Game Thread - Wildcard- Jacksonville V New England (2 Viewers)

What a disgraceful attempt at a tackle by Peterson. Great play by Watson, but awful tackling like that should never come from a linebacker as good as Peterson. His failure might have put the final nail in the coffin for Jax.

Where's G.Jones? Until the Pats blew it open, this seemed like the kind of game he could have been more effective in than Fred.

The announcers mentioned he's wearing a cast on that arm and can't tackle, looked pretty bad, I agree.

tom brady picking his nose, looking at it, then wiping it on his pants :lmao:

So on 3rd and 9, Leftwhich is ripping up the Pats secondary, and you call a draw play?Did Paul Hackett become their OC or something?

This game is offically over.Nothing to see here folks. Move along.Looks like I can safely switch to basketball now.

I don't think a 12-4 team should have been as ignored as the Jags have been this week by the national media and totally written off as a borderline forfeit to NE, but the teams they whipped up on down the stretch were a joke -- STL, HOU, BAL, TEN, ARI, CLE, SF, HOU, TEN -- and I don't think they have a shot tonight in Gillette.

34-13 Pats.
34 points? They haven't given up more than 28 points all year.
How's that impenetrable 28-point threshold looking about now? ;)

Are they really "ripping up" the secondary? Isn't it more like a "so-so wrinklin'"?

Looks like another week of NE hype by every media member East of the Misssissippi
It'll end when somebody finally beats them. But, 10 consecutive playoff wins inevitably leads to lots of praise.

Hey Jzippa....good thing Watson got ####ing lucky there, huh?

Colts will crumble vs. the Pats if they even face them next week. Get a clue doood.
We'll just have to see huh?The Jags are playing like a bunch of scared little girls, just like I expected them to. Don't get too confident based on this game. Actually, go ahead and get confident, so I can laugh at you later.

Now we just need for Cincy to beat Pitt, so NE can go knock off the Colts.Denver knocks off Cincy and then Denver takes out NE in Denver. Then Denver takes out whoever the pathetic NFC throws up against them--it is all falling into place...

I still believe these Colts will beat these Patriots. But I think the biggest concern is that Tony Dungy is 5-7 lifetime in the playoffs.

I'd hate for the Broncos to face the Pats right now

Me too, that is why I want them to go face their nemesis in Indy first, that way it will actually be a letdown to come play Denver in the championship game.

Just great. Garrard's in. The Pats will give up a sympathy TD and I'll have to listen to 8 months of "Bench Leftwich" on local sports talk radio.

BTW, Hats off to the Patriots. I thought the Jags could at least keep it close. The Jags made too many mistakes and the Pats took advantage of them.

hah, you think just like madden

I find it pretty funny how the Jaguars cant move the ball on offense despite all the monsters they have at WR and all the smurfs the Patriots have at DB.
