GIANTS VS EAGLES! (1 Viewer)

Every game is a big game this time of year, but this one is HUGE!

Winner all but locks up a wild card spot, and a possible shot at the division title (depending on which Cowboys team shows up in Atlanta this week). Loser has to scramble the last 2 weeks.

The Turnpike will not be a friendly place to be on Sunday, especially when you get closer to 16W. :thumbup:

So who do ya got?!?

ThisGuy - the Giants will win this.

I just hope they do so with the following:

All rushing TDs... two from Jacobs and one from Tiki, plus maybe a return or defensive TD.

Then, two throwing and one rushing TD from "walks like a duck" because if I win my fantasy game this week, thats over $500 in my pocket... and I am going against Eli.

Kiss that $500 goodbye. Eli will be the #1 FF QB this week. It's statistically impossible for any other outcome.

Quite possible, but the better Eli does, the more Garcia has to throw. Plus, if the Giants get to the 5, they have a good shot to punch it in on the ground. The eagles are more likely to throw for the TD.Plus, having Peyton going for me against Cincy should help (2 QB league)

Tiki is going to have a big day. It's the 2nd to last home game and the final time he is going against Philly. Coughlin may actually let him score a TD this week :excited:

 
Is this a big game? Both teams are average at best. Is this even for the division lead?

Have you watched what RBs have done to Philly lately? You are the one on some drugs my friend. Tiki will find paydirt this week.

Cat,First off, let me compliment you on your posts. You keep it real and aren't afraid to shake things up around here, and I dig that.Now, as for the Eagles/Giants game, this thing will be the exact opposite of what people expect. Garcia has been a paper tiger. With the exception of one game vs. Carolina, he's only been good for about 160 yards passing in every other contest. This week he'll again be below 200. He's had 7 TD passes in three weeks, but that won't keep up this week. He's due for a bad game and this one is it.The Eagles will score 13 points. One short TD on the ground and the rest field goals. The Giants will score 27 points. Eli Manning is red hot right now with 5 TD passes in his last two games (his brother has 5 in five weeks for comparison). The Giants will ride Eli's hot hand and he's good for 300 and 3 scores this week (Burress/Shockey/Tyree). Tiki won't be a factor. Maybe 60 yards rushing, 20 receiving....tops. No way he scores, he's allergic to the end zone.There is no other possible way for this game to play out. You have to trust me on this one.Best Wishes,H.K.
 
Spicy enough for this Cowboy fan. If we manage to lay an egg in Atlanta, a NYG win would turn us over on our head - with Philly on the docket next week.

Regardless of the outcome of tonights game, the NYG/PHI game is televised here in Big D and I for one will definitely be tuned in.

The formula is simple. Bring S\LB\CB blitz packages, Eli is done. He sux under pressure, and Philly can bring some. Eagles win this one, but all I care about is ATL beatin the boys tonight!

The Philly D is playing much better and ex-Giant James (or Will or Pete or whatever it is this week). is playing very well. I think the Eagles still have a bad taste from the last one and will play very good D. I also think Garcia's coming out party (the football one) is over. Should be a great game.

 
I hate both of these teams, However, No way does a freckled face back-up beat up on G-Men in the Meadowlands this time of year. G-Men 31 - Tweety 27/28.

Maybe it's just me....but I don't think it's possible for the Eagles or any NFL team to actually score 27/28th's of a point. If you are not predicting them to actually get shut out then you should at least predict a realistic score.Giants 31 Eagles 2 I'm always willing to help Cleavage....

Here's what Jeff Garcia goes home to every night....not too sure why people keep insinuating he's got the gay.

Anyway, I still know for a fact he'll put up miserable numbers this week (maybe from being worn out from Carmella), but there ain't a person on this board pulling down Playmates of the Year. So keep the insults to how lousy he is on the field, he's doing better than anyone off of it.
