Give Me a Movie/TV Show/Song/Band and I Will Review (1 Viewer)

Searching for the One-Eyed Jesus (documentary) Searching for the Wrong-Eyed Jesus ... I suck

Nada Surf

Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret

Abbott and Costello movies (don't think I need to pick a specific flick)

Dwight Yoakum

Banana Spilts

Ishtar
1. Haven't seen it

2. Don't know more than a couple of songs

3. Funny duo but their movies were not very good.

4. Not a country fan but I can stomach some of his stuff.

5. "Greatest band ever!" -- Me, age 3

6. Don't think I've ever seen the whole thing but really bad.

Wayne's World

The Shining

Friends

How I Met Your Mother

Gladiator
1. Funny but I was never a huge fan of the character(s). Some laughs but a pretty stupid movie.

2. Awesome. Pure classic suspense. Different from the book but Kubrick created something amazing.

3. Usually funny. Dumb phrase but it's a "comfort show". You put it on and you know what you're going to get.

4. Dumb as hell. I gave it a few episodes when it first started and it sucked. Pretty much want to punch every character in the face.

5. Historically slipshod but damn good for an action movie. I was entertained.

Got buried

I'll just give reviews of my the songs I'm playing off my spotify playlist that I'm listening to while drankin on my patio.

Teenage Kicks -- Undertones

Great blend of power pop, new wave, and semipunk.

Overlooked from my previous laundry list, The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret.

IFC original programming and I'm pretty sure it's on Netflix. It's David Cross and Will Arnett at their finest, if you're into it, and it's only two seasons that can be knocked out in five hours or so on a lazy afternoon.

Love it

I've watched it from beginning to end twice and could easily do a third viewing with a couple of bags of Cretors cheddar and some Mexican Coke.

I laughed so hard but it go too painful to watch after a while. The BNP shirt. :lmao:

I'd also recommend Run Lola Run, though I was a lot younger when I saw it and it might be dated today.

How about this one for review since Homer J just went and also likes this show, I think?

Terriers

Angel Heart

Jesus Christ Superstar

Natural Born Killers

Tears For Fears

Tenacious D
1. I seem to remember enjoying it to some degree when it first came out. Caught it on TV about 10 years ago and it isn't very good.

2. Dated and over the top. Plus I'd already read the book so the ending was spoiled.

3. Fun on the first watch but ultimately suffers from the ungodly union of QT and Oliverstone. Both of those guys are about a subtle as a kick in the nuts.

4. Hit and miss. Some songs are pretty good like "pale shelter" and "everybody wants to rule". Other songs are overwrought and stuffy. Sorta weird how they just faded away after their 2nd album.

5. Honestly don't know enough about them, other than bits and pieces, to comment.

Hurt locker

American sniper

Hamlet part 2
1. Great performances and good drama but eventually winds up to be rather silly. Only won Best Pic because it was a really weak year.2. Nothing really wrong with this movie but nothing really great about it either. I think it did a decent job portraying the mental toll that war takes on service members but, for the most part, it just sort of sat there.

3. Hilarious. More people need to see this.
