Yes she was. But pretty sure I had access to porn by then.Yeah but Kelly was pretty hot. After the initial shock value wore off it was pretty blah. Same set of jokes every episode.Married With Children
1. One of those movies everyone should see once... not because it is great (which it really isn't) but because it is so polarizing. Not a big fan of Kelly's directing. Jake G is great in it.Donnie Darko
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Tropic Thunder
Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery
1. Don't think I ever saw it.Picket Fences
Northern Exposure
1 and 2. I think I watched one episode of the miniseries. I am not a huge fan of westerns (although I know this isn't a typical western) so there has to be some sort of X factor for me to really like one. LD didn't grab me in any way. Did not read the book.Apologies in advance if you've done any of these already.....
Lonesome Dove - miniseries
Lonesome Dove - novel
Crowded House - musical artist
More style than substance. Some funny characters/skits but most of the humor was physical and/or over-the-top. Some talented performers but I think, ultimately, the writing was subpar. In Living Color
1. Not a fan really. All of their songs are too damn similar. I'm sure it doesn't help that if you said you didn't like Back in Black at my junior high you were an instant pariah.Honestly wouldn't have thought it, but we agree on a good 75% of the movies listed. How about some random bands:
AC/DC
The Black Crowes
SonicYouth
The Strokes
Nine Inch Nails
The Kinks
Season 1 was excellent. So different from anything else on at the time. Still not sure how it got the green light considering the crap that the networks put out back then. TP really showed that you could make a TV drama that was "cinematic". I'd say that shows like the sopranos, wire, madmen, etc owe a lot to the success of TP. Annnnnnd then came season 2. I don't think I've ever seen a nose dive like that.Twin Peaks
Gawd-damn raight. Now we're back on track here.OutstandingBlue Velvet with Dennis Hopper

You should see Ronin. Given your comments on Heat and To Live and Die in L.A., you'd probably like it quite a bit.1. Covered (have not seen)RedmondLonghorn said:Ronin

2. Great. One of the best cops&robbers movies ever. Only criticism is that I didn't give a #### about Pacino's domestic life. That was a huge drag.
1. Mostly crap.New Jack City
Rosemary's Baby
Taxi Driver
1. Not a western fan but it's not terribleThe Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Donnie Brasco
Cleaver
Leonard Cohen
Patti Smith
No real opinion of him as a musician. He's just kind of there. Did a LOT of producing.Todd Rundgren
1. Good but not great. Heavy handed and predicable. There's a message but I don't think they delivered it very well.Menace II Society
Sam and Dave
Little House on the Prairie
Rick James

Absolutely OK. Funny for the most part but lead characters were one-trick ponies.Absolutely FabulousOfficer Pete Malloy said:Absolutely brilliant.Too Many Cooks
Never saw it. 93.6% of horror movies suck. The People Under The Stairs (movie)
Never saw it either. Classic blah blah blah. That Chinese director is awesome blah blah blah. If he was any good he'd make American movies.seven samurai
Good on the first watch but nothing I want to see again.Nell
A total classic. I dare say better than Dazed and Confused if you count context.american grafitti
An underappreciated 70's power pop gem.

I don't think I own a dozen DVDs in total, but these are two of them. Both are great films. I relate more to D&C because I was 14 in 1976 and it nailed my personal experiences. American Grafitti is, by far, the best movie Lucas ever made.A total classic. I dare say better than Dazed and Confused if you count context.american grafitti
