First up will be a Belgian Tripel (my personal fave) with a projected ABV of 8.5 to 9.0%.

Then we will move on to an American Amber, which has a much lower gravity (4.75 - 5.25%) for those times when you want a beer but don't wanna get smashed right away (like driving to work).

By about 9 a.m., should have 5 gallons of each fermenting.

1:41:32 in today's half marathon. New PR. Three beers, two mimosas and a couple vodka shots later, I'm off to meet with my city council member about joining a city board. Pretty good Sunday.

 
Fun facts:  I'm in a double elimination survivor league at work.  There are 3 of us left.  The playoffs, of course, are single elimination.  All three of us have the Falcons.  What's weird is it also keeps track of "margin of victory" points (but they don't come into play).

Me and another guy have the same total.

Lol. It's still plenty frozen out there. Guys we're ice fishing. 

There were no pools of open water.  Those are just puddles on the ice.

Tornado watches here today.  Awesome weather for my 10k earlier, but the wind in advance of this front is getting nasty.

 
pouring rain here, all day.  trashcans are safe. however,  flash flood warning just came in as i'm typing this.  actually actually true.

Highway 184 near redbank road is shut down due to flooding and reports of sinkholes.

I knew a girl that lived right there at Redbank and 184 (aka Morning Dr.).  She had huge tracks of land.  Never got to experience them free-range because I slow played it.

total overhaul of the Steelers organization is needed. not sure how they can recover from this as an organization.
