Currently chatting in a bar with a number of locals who believe Chemtrails are killing us. Will bring up when appropriate (Kevin lives in his truck but will be leaving soon.)

Hey, if Kevin (I'm sure that's his real name) is willing to pay me enough I can "do research on those chemtrails" for him from my office here, no problem.  Assume all that'd be necessary would be to shoot over a few links to articles from InfoWars/etc a few times a week and I'd be set.

Honestly, I believe he's currently worried that the government may start getting involved with his welfare. He'll get back to chemtrails later.

Welfare, chemtrails, aliens talking to him via his mercury fillings, not a big deal.  I can "track down the perps" for all of those things for him. I'm a multi-tasker.

Hah! Of course he did.  

Well, I'm more than happy to entertain selling out for some defense contracts, at this point. Seems likely to remain a pretty safe vertical (sadly).  They even have a local chapter here, IIRC.  Get "Kevin" on it!

Kevin couldn't do it anymore.  That's why he now lives in his truck. 

 
Looks like I missed gin chat 

Anyway big fan.  Gin and squirt is a nice refreshing summer drink.  Used go do a lot of gin and tonics for awhile too but got kind of burnt out on tonic.  Will do the occasional gin and soda still

Anyway I've got a nice cocktail book (Death and Company) and gin makes a great base for a lot of cocktails.   Little more bite than vodka and I've got a lot of people that "don't like gin" tell me they love these cocktails

Also Shorts has a Melt My Brain beer that's basically a gin beer

oh- death and co are up the street from us. haven't been there in years, because... I'm lame and old. ####### kids.

 
if things have gone unfixed for.... let's just throw out a number... 5 years, and you finally hire a handyman who says "i can knock all that out in one day" don't spend the day before that day scrambling around the house trying to partially fix everything.  

maybe i'm simple but i never understood hiring a maid or cleaning service and then doing their work for them

 
we had a small reunion today for floppinho's 4yo pre-k class- pretty special group of kids and parents who all bonded heavily over the kids' 3 years together in preschool. reunion was at a local east village playground; seven families showed- some of whom haven't seen each other in a few years. 

small, quiet playground. only 2 other kids there- roughly the same age as floppinho and his classmates (9/10). they're there unsupervised- no adults around- throwing a frisbee back and forth. 

at a point when the adults are all congregated and catching up- the frisbee hits one of the moms. we throw it back. it continues. rather than playing in any other part of the playground where nobody else is- they set up next to us and are now trying to hit us... .which they do repeatedly.

*** what do you do?

the maid thing- I always try to tidy up so they can get to everything that needs actual cleaning without having to navigate our stuff. but I'm not tidying AND cleaning. 

handyman... if I'm hiring somebody- I'm getting my money's worth.

X-step with no run-up and then throw it RHBH with some hyzer (since it is probably understable) about 200 feet over the nearest fence.

along with the **what do you do** post above, question for the portlanders and people of sense in general... there are protests in portland regarding the ####brain **** who stabbed people because they defended his angry harangue of two muslim girls. because? is this people who are for stabbings? against? I see there's some component of free speech thrown in the mix... free to be an ####### to muslims, or free to say I'm going to stab you and then stab you?

this is my brother in law. 

we let him share our netflix and amazon accounts... we have a bunch of bigfoot and ufo stuff on our "my playlist" sections.

 
My ex-girlfriend is what's wrong with America.  There is no middle ground with her.  She either doesn't care at all or she cares 100 and crazy percent.

I'm not particularly alpha and I would have broken it and thrown it into the trash by the second time it came into our group.
