We did :shrug: I have something on the calendar everyday until Sunday, so if we were going out it had to be yesterday... Looking back on the bill, we did drink a lot... Should've thought this one through a little more. Have to go sit in a group seminar for the next 4 hours and then the Rangers game. Gonna be a struggle and tomorrow will be awful.

First time I've been refused booze. My wife was pretty drunk, I can only imagine the conversation she had with this guy before he delivered the news.

Does she remember the conversation? Did she drink before her arrival? What was she drinking? How many did she have there? Was there a table for you two in the restaurant? What sparked her anger?

"Elf Loppo" sounds like a Hispanic fairy(not that kind. The other kind) that travels around the countryside of Baja California cutting things off of other things, righting wrongs, etc.

BL's CPS story is freaking scary. For the last few years before I separated from my ex, we had shouting matches the neighbors could definitely hear. Finally I wised up and stopped engaging for the sake of the kids, but every now and then she would start in on me, often with the windows open. During those times the only way to make it stop was to leave the house. It was so stressful and the thought of what kind of emotional damage we were doing to our kids wore on me...still does, even after the fact in case the damage is done.

I cannot imagine what that would feel like with a CPS investigation thrown into the mix.

Does she remember the conversation? She says nothing out of the ordinary... I obviously don't buy this. She can be condescending and when I was talking with the guy, she asked twice "who is in charrge?!?" She was basically mocking the guy. He did look a little young, but whatever - He obviously didn't appreciate it. Did she drink before her arrival? No What was she drinking?

How many did she have there? Prob about 6, maybe 7 Was there a table for you two in the restaurant? We were outside, but there was an available table inside What sparked her anger?She didn't get angry until we were cut off... Then she got pissed. I think what got her pissed about being cut off is we had already run up a huge bill, we are spending a lot of money there, and then they're telling us no more.

There's a fancy cocktail bar near here that serves a delightful jalapeno bellini.

ETA: Stay away from the eggplant mai-tai though.

I thought that would be funny since you're a Yankee and all that... figured you kind of expected us all to walk around like that. I don't own a cowboy hat and only just recently bought some ostrich skin boots at the goodwill.
