Hey GMTAN!  This is Otis for Youtube stomach bug I got from my daughter. So the good news is I am not throwing up anymore. The bad news is I’m achy from head to toe and can’t sleep, so I went downstairs and tried to tempt fate by drinking a little water, eating three (3) Saltines crackers, and then popping “just two Aleve” which if I recall from the commercials “is gentler on your stomach.”

We’ll see, Aleve. We’ll see.

It was around the school for months.  Damn hillbiliies in town kept sending their vomiting kids to school; school nurse was sending out desperate plea letters once a week, with increasing urgency each time, asking the parents to PLEASE stop sending their stupid sick kids to school.  People don't give a crap -- they can't stand their kids and it's inconvenient for them so, well, little Sally just threw up at midnight but that was like 7 hours ago, she's totally fine for school.  Idjuts. 

So yeah, after a few months of rope-a-dope, Casa Otis hit pretty hard.  3/5 family members down; Mrs. and eldest child somehow managing so far.  Frankly, Mrs. O is most critical here, because Otis on his own taking care of a bunch of vomiting kids is a recipe for disaster.  Or a sitcom. 

Now seriously can someone tell me which numbers in the SB pool are mine?  TIA

I didn't see this one, but it must be me:  "My Winnings Will Fund a Wedding Flower" -- I was just looking at the shortened ones in the grid.  Oops.

I thought the deck one at first, but I bought 5 squares, and there were too few deck ones.

Floppinho caught scarlet fever in kindergarten. Scarlet ####### fever. Like a Dickens novel.

We alerted the school, because...scarlet fever. They replied- oh, yeah..there have been a couple cases floating around. The ####?! Apparently there's a set number of cases before they're required to alert the school. In the mean time- scarlet ####### fever.

And 4th grade...we have to apply to middle schools in the city- it's like college. And because the DOE is so DOE, attendance counts as much as test scores or grades. So now all these type A parents are sending little Timmy to school with the bubonic plague, because heaven forbid they miss a day and not get into the upper elite middle school that will keep them from getting into an Ivy.
