Anybody ever done the Neilson Ratings? Is this a scam? I just spent 30 minutes on the phone with them giving out all sorts of personal information and now I'm feeling ungood about it.
I will berate you endlessly to watch shows that I like but aren't getting good enough ratings.
Like....Hannibal?
Hannibal gets way better ratings than it deserves. Pretty much garbage.
Seriously. He crossed the Alps. We get it.
ON ELEPHANTS!!!!!!!!!!!
The elephants he tried to bring over the Alps largely died and the remaining few weren't really effective. Hannibal did kick some Roman ### though.

On a happier note, I got my first professional foot massage today. Good times. Good times.
Full release?

Over two hours on the phone with Humana. Remarkably little to show for it. Feeling pretty stabby right now. I've been promised a promotion, but I bet that doesn't absolve me from excruciating grunt work.

Sorry. No happy ending stories here.

Hope you're feeling better grove. Have you adjusted to a flipped sleep schedule yet?

Speaking of... appears the new upstairs neighbors moved in yesterday. And woke wife and I up at 3:30am crashing stuff around. And walking louder than anything I've heard in the 13 years we've lived here. This is going to suck.

If you guys get woken up in the middle of the night, are you able to go back to sleep? I'm not. ####### exhausted right now.
Didn't die last night. Saw the doc this morning and she said it looks like my sinuses just got full and the fluid built up behind my eardrum. So it's mostly better now.

Adjusting to the night shift a bit. Still only managing to get 4-5 hours of sleep a day but it's been enough so far.

It will be interesting to see how I manage over the next 2 weeks. Went from being scheduled 3 nights this week and 5 every week going forward, to suddenly having 4 this week, one night off, then 12 days straight including 80 hours over the next week. Could be a rough couple of weeks, but the paycheck is going to be really nice.

I'm truly going to kill you one day.
You given any (more?) thought to moving to China and being a "Rent a White Guy"? $1,000 a week and free lodging. Man, I bet a lumbering 6'3" god like you would slay some Chinese tail over there.
Nah. I'd feel bad after all the Godzilla comparisons.

so, the guy accused of rape at Notre Dame whose victim committed suicide when they covered it up just got released from the Falcons after he was charged by the police with killing his ex-girlfriends dog.

neat guy.

The dog had an array of serious injuries.

The dog had a fractured rib, fractured liver, abdominal hemorrhage, thoracic hemorrhage, extensive bruising and hemorrhage in the muscles in her front leg and shoulders, head trauma, hemorrhage and edema in lungs, hemorrhage between the esophagus and trachea, and hemorrhage in the left eye with internal injuries, police said.

I am not sure I remember that cover up at Notre Dame. But they have so many it is sometimes tough to keep them all straight.

That's why Te'o stuck with fake gf's.

Drinking lemonade vitamin water with vodka. Seems to be the best way to deal with being home with the boys all day. Slap it high!

22 adults and 24 kids at the house tomorrow for a 6th birthday party. 50% chance that it rains and we are all stuck inside. Kill me now.

It was always fun playing pick up basketball games in college as a 6'-3" white guy playing against a team of 5'-6" asianed guys. They would take turns trying to guard me. Eventually I would get to the 5'-6", 250lb guy and would just shoot over him from the outside.

I'm not sure if we've ever discussed it in here but what's the consensus on Mongolian BBQ?

Going for lunch and I'm super excited because I haven't been in awhile
Protip: Put your veggies (especially leafy ones) in the bowl first and meat on top. The heavier meat will condense everything allowing you to cram more stuff in the bowl.
I put my meat in first, then jam my fist down on it to condense it as much as possible. Then I pile other stuff on top of that until it looks like the leaning Building of Pisa. Once I drop my bowl off with the Mexi-Mongol chef, I sprint to the restroom to sanitize said fist.

I loaded mine up pretty good but basically cross contaminated every veggie receptacle as I'd throw on a big scoop of veggie X and watch the remnants cascade into bin Y and Z and onto the floor. I think a worker said something but I just ignored her
