GM's Thread About Everything/GM's Thread About Nothing (14 Viewers)

I want to find one where instead of yelling "two in the door" or something like they do at 5 Guys they just hit that big giant gong the asians always have around.

Had a bit of a break through with my taciturn daughter the other day and, as a result, ended up having a very pleasant weekend and Father's Day. That's the good news.

The bad news is the true scope of just how much my ex-wife is ####### up my kids is becoming clearer every day. When she isn't intentionally undermining things over here, she is passing on her victim mentality to them as an all-purpose coping mechanism.

Neat.

But things are better for the time being and now they are actually talking to us in a fairly meaningful way. I am sure the problems aren't gone for good, but I admit I am fully enjoying this respite.

Oh, and Page 2 save.
sick all father's day weekend, and then threw my back out. still sick and still barely mobile from the back.

but I still want to know about fish's weekend.
Sucks GBs. :(

So some genius broad that I went to HS with sent out a Facebook messenger blast to about 40 people asking for their addresses (planning our 50th reunion). About 10 people so far have responded with their home addresses.

The guy who is actually putting the invites together lives about 1/4 from where I work. Pretty sure he doesn't need to ask for an address.

I really want to reply with a shtick address. 1060 W. Addison? 100 Mary st? Something in Brentwood/Beverly Hills?

 That was my home address on FB for a long time as well as the WH phone number. I changed it awhile ago to 1313 Mockingbird Lane but to your point, yeah.

I'm only a raconteur part time. I'm also a single dad. Spent the weekend at a father/daughter camp Friday-Sunday. Horseback riding, bb guns, archery, tomahawks---it was like training her for the hunger games.

Next weekend will be kid-free. Date on Friday night with a new chick, 25 (way more age-appropriate now) year old coming down for boating Saturday, then Sunday with the one with nice skin.
Where do you find a father daughter camp? That sounds great. Is it affiliated with some lunatic outfit like the Scouts or god?
I would love to do a father/son camp with my ne'erdowell kid.
You guys might want to check your local Y for Indian guides/Indian princesses

Just had drinks with a girl whom refused to twirl a rifle topless in my living room. After parsing the statement for a bit, I'm pretty sure that "in my living room" is the only part she won't follow through on. Go Team Bentley!

I don't know how to search within this thread. Bentley was interested in Trunk Club. Got my first trunk today. Had I kept everything, it would have cost a ton:

boxer briefs $20

Tommy John undershirt $40

linen gingham shirt $198

black captoe dress shoes $450

swim trunks $48

socks (3x) $34

gaberdeen slacks $198

chinos $98

coral shorts $78

casual long sleeve shirt $135

polo $88

polo $76

blue suede shoes $135

khaki shorts $48

light hoodie $198

I kept a couple things and sent the rest back. They said the first trunk is more about learning fit and style.

I needed some stuff, and this is basically just nordstrom prices and brands. If it wasn't for the convenience and the fact that I did need a couple things, I probably would have sent it all back. If you have disposable income for clothes, it's fine. if you have time to go to nordstrom rack or something like that and don't hate shopping (or you have a wife) you're probably better off going with that.

Good lord

its free shipping both ways, and comes with a mailing label. you just put the stuff you don't want back in the box and they take it back. you only pay for stuff you keep. I spent the same as if I'd gone to the store, but I got a stylist suggesting stuff and learning what I like. but yeah, if you buy your clothes at good will or get them donated by a mission, this isn't for you.

Dang. Think I will stick with current Nordstrom Rack/Rue La La/Banana Republic outlet combo.

Are you going to stick with it?

For at least one more. They said the first one is trial and error for fit and to see what you like, but I really just needed some stuff for summer so if there are one or two things I like in the next one I probably don't need anything else
