NYC tap water snobbery is :moneybag:
but it is sooooooooooo delicious.
I understand. Our gigantic, tasty oysters and regional foods like po'boys and crawfish etoufee are tasty, too, and we get really uppity about them. I can see how your tap water would be similar.
Gulf oysters
I'm sorry to hear about your unfortunate cognitive disorder.

Deadwood? More like overratedwood.
:lmao:

I got through 1.6 seasons and stopped for some reason. Feel like I saw enough. Liked it...didn't love it.

Better than Madmen, though.
One of my favorite lines:

Al Swearengen: Don't forget to kill Tim.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWGhuZiSPM4

Swearengen + Wu = :moneybag:

Most effective use of profanity in television history imo. (Other than maybe BB's 1 f-word/season).
:lmao: "Glad I taught you that f###in' word" :lmao:

I started a thread last year about us moving to the Twin Cities. I wanted to update it but the search here sucks and I tried the Google search truck and nothing.

Help?

Got a job offer to go be the vp of sales for a 60 million dollar company tonight. The problem? Pay is about 15% less then immediate "yes" territory and I would start off working from home (which scares my wife since the last time I worked solo was when I had my own business which ended badly). Should be very excited and celebrating but I'm not.
Congratsprawishes.

Meh.com has a pretty good video in the middle of the page(I feeel good).

I don't know how mainstream it is but the end tag is Kellogg's nutri grian.

It could be old but I wouldn't know.

Have you ever had an oyster from Washington or British Columbia?

If not, you could be forgiven for being so confused.

Ok. I've come to my senses. There are only about 5 vP level roles in my industry that carry much weight and this is one of them. My current boss has one of the others. And it's still more money than I ever imagined I would be making at this age, especially since it wasn't long ago that I sold my golf clubs to Thorn for $40 so I had money to feed my kid.

So I'm compiling a list of questions that will be important to know beforehand but otherwise I'm getting quite excited.

Sobriety is occasionally useful. :D Best wishes, bAbe.

JR woke up last night with a bad dream. We were all at church and a gang of dinosaurs broke in and ate everyone.

Need some bfred work here.

So if you saw my FB post today, a little clarification.

My wife says "Bobby, come over here and take a pic of us by this sign please". Sure no problem. There were 4-5 other groups of people, all women, waiting for a cab or ride like us. (Cab was a real shark move because they greatly underestimated how many people would take the shuttle there. Was at least 1000 people back at the winery waiting for the couple of buses they had to come back.) Anyhow, as I'm taking that pic this good looking broad, 20's, very drunk, says "oh look at you Bobby! You going to get your rooster sucked tonight by those two?!" Then one her friends says "he better be or I'll do it! I want to suck your rooster Bobby?!" This goes on for a solid 10 minutes with different variations of proposals. Then some gal from another group comes over after hearing these loud exclamations about what these women wanted to do to me. Another good looking gal, a nurse, in her 20's. Literally stumbling drunk. She says to me " yeah they will suck rooster but will they eat each others cat like me?" I ask her if she wants to join us. Surprisingly, Mrs. SLB is amused by all of this. Her and friend decide to join the harassment.

I was wearing Nightmeow on Elm Street. Would have gotten pics but it was really dark as you can see from the posted pic.

I didn't get me ** taken care of I should have ditched my wife and her friend. :( :kicksrock:

He's trying to tell you he doesn't believe in creationism.
Nailed it.
Well, fear of dinosaur attack isn't getting him out of spending a bunch of time at the Methodist church over the next decade or so.
In ten years, he'll probably appreciate those Methodist Youth Fellowship dances. I know I did. :pickle:

If one was the kind of person that sent dirty texts to their wives, doing so while standing in line for BBQ provides plenty of opportunities for meat related double entendres.

The final season of True Blood might just be the worst season of any television show in history
Tie between Final season of SoA

Any season of Banshee or Hannibal
I can't comment on the first 2 so I'll take your word for itHannibal is also pretty terrible...I may give True Blood the nod because a few early seasons were decent though

Also I Watched a Hannibal episode with wife the other night...it really is as awful as I remembered. Why is there always someone playing a xylophone or something in the background
This is my design.
Two punches.

Methodists dance?

my older brother married a methodist. there was no dancing and no drinking at the wedding/reception.

my knowledge of methodists is exhausted right there.

That's horrible. Trust me when I speak on behalf of all Methodists that we are generally the most laid back of all Protestants. One service a week with coffee and donuts, girl preachers, pretty gay friendly, the whole bit. John Wesley was pretty anti booze but we've gotten away from that. I've had coolers of beer at church volunteer projects.

Last week the local market had portherhouse steaks on sale for $6 a pound.

I bought eight of them and carved or the filets and NY strip from each side and put the tbones on to marinate.

I froze the steak cuts and tonight I'm grilling up the bones on the grill. They only have about 5-7 messy bites each, but man are they delicious.

You're eating bones?

She don't eat meat but she sure likes the bone.

We usually go in on a cow with the wife's family once a year or so...have a freezer full of $3/lb steaks

Had a nice porterhouse tonight in fact

Good shtick thread might be Frozen Steaks Yay or Nay...bet you'd get a ton of guys to claim they won't eat anything but USDA Prime beef slaughtered 27 days ago and aged by an Italian butcher named Giuseppe in a warehouse in the Bronx
