I haven't missed a TNF game in a while, because even though the product is ####, it's still nice to have NFL football during the week. However, I haven't even turned on the TV tonight. Sounds like Blaine Gabbert v. Drew Stanton is living up to "expectations."

she's essentially untouchable here so there's no chance of preventing it. 

every year i forget until she starts it up again.

problem:  he has made it a point to suck up to her in every way possible. as blatantly as possible. one of the first things he said to me when i moved to this department was "get in good with (her). do everything you can to make her happy.". 

she would never ever ever buy that he'd done something like that. 

then she'd rampage through the office making a hysterical scene about it... for weeks if necessary.

picture a lady that looks like this who is REALLY REALLY REALLY angry about everything. who thinks everyone is totally incompetent. that berates and belittles her husband and kids over the phone several times per day without regard for who's listening, what she says or how it must make them feel... but she LOVES christmas music. especially Elvis christmas tunes.

and, ironically enough, the loud guy looks and acts like Lloyd Christmas.

Happy to say my son was discharged from the hospital today

He is still not feeling great but he is excited to be home.  Funny thing is he had to endure 2 cleanses and with the combo of laxative and pain meds it led to some sphincter failure.  Every time he gets out of bed he looks at the sheets to make sure he didn't leave anything behind.  In his words he is suffering from PTSD.  I love that he has been able to keep his sense of humor throughout this ordeal.
