GM's Thread About Everything/GM's Thread About Nothing (5 Viewers)

Rich Gannon's inability to pronounce the word offense will never cease to confuse me
What's the deal with the Packers' cheerleaders from yesterday?  Dressed in 1950s outfits, they were beefy and hard to look at.  Are these the real cheerleaders or are they some sort of charity group?

I really hate my city sometimes...

Beerkid told me he ate breakfast at this local mom and pop diner place (I've never been there).

He ordered French Toast and the server corrected him with Freedom Toast.  There were also little American flag toothpicks in his food.

What year is it again?
Come on....really?  You gotta get the name of this place.

What's all this now?

The cheerleaders are the last thing us fans need to worry about.
Well, the rest of us that are forced to watch your Packers games do worry about just that.  I mean, what the hell?  If you're going to have cheerleaders, have good ones because what you had yesterday would cure a four hour erection.

have you been to northern Wisconsin? Those probably were the "good ones"

I've never been 86ed from anywhere before.   I'm tempted to go there and specifically order FRENCH toast.   Then I'd take my little flag toothpick and burn it.
or you could make a tiny american flag diaper out of it for a tiny nesting russian doll.

wait... or is russia good again in this guy's world?

Green Bay gets local high schoolers (I believe)

:bag:

Sorry.  Just thought the GB cheerleaders were a touch......rough, considering the quality of other NFL franchises.
  I thought the Harvard thing was kooky - publicly shame them, let them know they are crass and boorish, but cancelling the season for it seemed heavy handed to me.

I was just surprised to learn there were attractive women at Harvard.
What is with you today? There are beautiful women everywhere.

Besides, if you turn 'em upside-down, they pretty much all look the same.

surprised there hasn't been more/any discussion in the FFA about this- the whole thing is kind of insane.

got me thinking about the kinds of things said- yes, locker-room talk- by my team-mates and I... I don't know the specifics of what was written outside of that arcticle (which seemed pretty tame, tbh), but I doubt it was more vulgar than the things we came up with. we just didn't have the internet as a medium for this kind of stuff. and hopefully would've been smarter than these boobs to have not made it public.

but yeah- to cancel a season... and one poised for the ivy championship or at least NCAA tourney inclusion? big. granted- sounds like it was for several years' worth of this behavior after already having been warned?

fwiw- columbia was supposed to play them last weekend- a game that was supposed to decide the ivies, with CU sitting in second. the game was obviously cancelled and CU and Penn- harvard's remaining unplayed opponents, have to play eachother in lieu of playing harvard- so that each Ivy team plays the same number of in-conference games.

Everything's relative.  Of course, I'd imagine sex is a lot more relative at LSU, Ol' Miss and Alabama than at Harvard.
