I have something like this now.

I would like something better and wireless rear speakers are preferred. Although my family room has all of the hookups built into the walls but I have no idea how that works.

I don't want to spend anything crazy, maybe $1-2k.

you really want to spend most of the budget on the center channel. I've had really good luck with Paradigm speakers, I did a quick search and this place carries that in your area. go take a look

I think I spent $750 on my paradigm center channel, and about $500-600 on the rear speakers, there are cheaper options though.

I saw it was a linkin park song and immediately turned the sound off figuring nobody would submit us to a point made through that music- had to be visuals. but those were stupid too... except I guess there was a teacher that decades laroux empathized with or something.

Not something I would do again voluntarily.

He's officially still employed but word is they've given him notice. Focus today was on swim team winning 11th national title with Barnes announcement tomorrow.
