Get rid of whatever bugs are in your siding that the woodpeckers are trying to get at. By killing the woodpeckers you are killing the symptom, not the problem.

Or just get a bunch of toothpicks and a bunch of pecker heads...

Well he was pretty close to oildale so he probably loved Justified.

Cool story: a few weeks ago my wife and I were talking about pets that we had as kids. I mentioned that for years I had an aquarium that I kept up religiously despite being a total dip #### as a teen. My socks probably didn't match but I kept my fish alive.

So today, in the middle of fixing my car, my wife and eldest kid surprise me with a cheapo (I'd be pissed if otherwise) aquarium.

Coelacanths are still available at petsmart, right?

I've managed to keep 5 glo fish alive for my son for a couple years. Now considering a new/bigger tank because the stupid black light in my $40 "set" went out.

 
Driving home tonight I hit a deer.

I was not going that fast, maybe 45-50.

SOB ran right in front of me on the downhill stretch where I just pull in the clutch and glide through a couple of curves. He slammed right into my good (left) knee. I managed to keep the bike upright and moving forward. Front end seemed messed up and my knee hurts like a mother. I doubt the deer makes it.

Mice... harumph

yeah, it was kind of a moment of truth for me as I swerved, drug footpegs and wrangled to keep up right. 100 yards later, not so much

get to a doctor soon. no reason to ride it out and see if you're ok here, IMO.

scary #### that could have been so much worse... really glad you made it out relatively ok. [:notebook: Cos can be the get-away driver for future heist... as long as there aren't deer involved in the heist]
