It was a sequel, 20 years later. John Goodman & Joe Morton "replaced" Belushi, but Jake's death was mentioned IIRC. The battle of the bands at the end was loaded with HOF musicians and is probably worth seeing just for that.

So I have a lot of hometown folks who have a friended me over the years on FB. Haven't seen most of them in 35-40 years but whatever I usually accept and unfollow if it turns out they post bull####.
One of those acquaintances just a posted some pictures. Her daughter who had complications in her second trimester. The baby did not survive.
Picture #1 was of the daughter looking distraught in her hospital bed. OK that's a little weird, but hey it's a stressful time, I get it.
Picture #2 was a statue or figurine - the grandchild is with Jesus now. OK, fine, not my thing, I understand it's a difficult time for the family & we all grieve differently.
Picture #3 was the feet of a 14 week old fetus.
Imma gonna go punch a wall now.
There's a lot of ####ed up people in this world.
