We had PTC for Dylan today. His teacher was showed us his last test to demonstrate how he is struggling in math. We both found this really strange considering he got an A and it has always been his strongest subject and I have award certificates from the last two years to prove it. I did two of the problems she marked wrong and and he had the correct answer for both of them. She was slightly embarassed and said she would re-correct it. :lmao: :nobodylikesmath:

The loan officer screwed up the HUD not once, but twice. We are in hour 3 of closing and my wife is racing to the bank to get another $7k check before they close in twenty minutes so we can have a home tonight.

Beer. Lots of it. On the way.

Sounds like she went to school with the same "math" teachers my kids had who lump 4 point rubric scores in with things like normal 10 point quizzes. A 3 out of 4 on the rubric is supposed to mean near mastery of the subject, but the computer turns that into a percentage, and 75% is a D.

At least you got more than the blank stares I got when I pointed that out.

You should demand some money back from this loan officer/company.

How is that even possible? Doesn't the escrow/title office also confirm most (if not all) of those numbers?

You should definitely get something out of that from him or his company. If not, savage him for his terrible incompetence in online reviews.

:goodposting: Not only the title/escrow company, but the Realtor® should be checking. Hell, I always go through it thoroughly myself and ask questions about anything that doesn't look right, but I'm insane.

Not all of us are involved in real estate transactions on a daily basis.
