Wait until the last 20-30 minutes to put in the dumplings or they'll break apart and dissolve. If you ashley done it, don't worry about it, they'll just act as a roux and thicken the liquid. You can add more closer to finish.Uruk-Hai said:Morning, folks![]()
Got chicken & dumplings in the slow cooker. The cooker scares me a little - it's one of those Instant Pot steamer/pressure cooker/crock pot combos and has about 12,000 controls on it. I think I pushed all of the right ones. Oh, and I've never made chicken and dumplings before. 80/20 that it'll be edible and 50/50 whether it'll be any good.

Hope the GMs aren't dealing with more bad ####.
