Yeah, when you read the resumes of all the bankrupt former athletes almost all of them have a failed restaurant on there.
Sam Malone being the exception.  He was smart enough to sell booze only.  Then he flipped the place for a tidy profit.  Of course he spent that money on a boat that sunk.  Eventually got the place back for a dollar being a stoolie.  Rebecca burned the place down with poorly disposed smoke but it was rebuilt better than ever and he was able to fix a lot of the building code violations he dodged for years.  Happy ending as Whoopie Goldberg came in one night, they fell in love, and he soaked off her bank account ever after.

There's an old joke that goes something like

You know how you can open a restaurant and end up with $1 million?

Start with $2 million

So, rolling into month #4 without steady employment...and just had to full on replace an AC unit and remediate mold in our house back in FL.  Rest of July is shaping up to be just awesome!

Pretty sure with all the debt accrued in the past two months(move, new vehicle, etc, etc) I'm worth more deceased than alive.  So, I've got that going for me. Guess I should make sure I avoid walking down stairs in front of my wife.

Sorry 5-ish, things will get better, just keep at it.

Vegashole 2016 is a go. Only the estimable John Bender and myself are currently *confirmed*, but more regulars of the Wagering Thread may surface, and you knobs are also welcome. My dates are Sept. 15-20, but most will only be able to handle a weekend. I won't pester you guys further, but feel free to PM shuke me for details.

So tempting, but my next trip out there is April 2017 (Birthdayhole).  Philly is my last trip this year in October.   :kicksrock:

I would go with Peaky Blinders - unfortunately, my son liked the show so much he just got his cut like them.

I guess it is also a hipster haircut as well - and can go manbun when he wants.

Started Silicone Valley with the wife and older boys.  I saw all of season 1, but am having a blast watching it again with the family.  Both boys are maybe a little young, but screw it.  They're loving it and the laughs are myriad.

I'd go Six Feet Under, but it's quite long.  Black Mirror is good but only a handful of episodes

Can't comment on the rest...Stranger Things on my list though
