I really need to stop reading the comments on the local news stories that appear on Facebook. Invariably I read something that is so stupid that I am forced to reply and what a waste of time that is.

You know what phrase needs to be worked into the day-to-day vernacular more?  "Enter into a covenant with."  It just sounds so, so....PROPER.  FORMAL.  OFFICIAL.  The incubus in that drawing?  It is clear this is a gentleman who is prepared to enter into a covenant with that Asia Carrera wannabe, and the legion of suitors who came(no pun intended) before him.  And there is no question he means business.  See?  Proper.  Formal.  Official.

(Also, am I the only one to notice how most of the folks who are so hep to bang(no pun intended) the "no sexy times out of wedlock!!!" drum are also the folks most likely to own the expansive, go-to collection of incubus related, pornographic illustrations?  No?  Didn't think so.)

Of, you meant THE "Satan"?   I envision that dude as the guy managing all the people in a telemarketing cube farm, so that sort of works too. 

Telemarketer: "Hi, Mr. The Doormat.  I'm calling to see if I could interest you in so-..."

Binky: "I'm going to stop you right there.  I've asked to be put on your don't call list thrice.  I need to talk with your supervisor."

Telemarketer: "Sure" *hands off phone*

Manager: ""Mr. The Doormat?  Dan Satan here.  Janine tells me that you've been asked to be put on our Do Not Call List, is that correct?  Yes?  Well, I'm sorry to hear that, but I'll take care of it. Sorry for the trouble.  While I have you here though, any interest in entering into a covenant with DirectTV?"

See?  That's smooth.  Proper.  We need to bring that back.

6-7 years ago I employed this guy to feed my dogs when I was out of town. I'm proud to know the man who developed one of the best pick up lines of all time.

The story's all over my kid's social media world because he was well-known 'round here, and while it really isn't funny... wait, it's really funny. I can't stop laughing.
