Apolitical: I have some terrible pain in my left knee, especially down the back of my leg.  The knee feels a little loose.  I'm a dude so I don't visit doctors, and I don't really have time for surgery.  Is it my meniscus?  It's my meniscus isn't it?

I just had a torn meniscus. Pain was on the sides of the knee but never down the back of my leg.

Friends and countrymen, I am still alive. 

1. My life has changed a lot since I was last active here.  

2. Maybe one day I'll return to tell it  

3. Someone texted me the other day about having lunch next week. I habe a new phone so no contacts.  I think it was Bentley.  Regardless, I'll be there 

4. Whatever.  I love you all.

next album was... well, ok- more of the same, but watered down and kinda meh. I think they've had some more albums since that second one.

Yup. First album was pretty good, second okay. The rest, based on what I have heard on the radio at least, awful.

 
Something unspeakably tragic has happened to a FBG that a lot of us know pretty well. I saw it on Facebook and it is truly awful.

I am not trying to be coy, but I also don't feel at liberty to share it with everybody here since I don't know how he would feel about somebody doing that.

The guy has been around FBG forever, though he comes and goes, and he was also a member of LABS.

I will respond via PMs, for those who think they may know who I am talking about.

I think you can say this about a lot of bands.  They peak and then gradually flame out. My example would be U2 (no snobbery implied here).  For me, anything past Rattle and Hum just isn't really the same as everything before it.  No wonder they're doing a Joshua Tree 2017 tour.

I don't mean to be cryptic.

It's a guy who is around from time to time, but isn't a regular in the FFA any more. I don't know if he has ever been in GMTN. I would guess so, but I'm not going to look it up. 

He lost his teen daughter.
