Thanks.  Not an alias.  I have been around for a long time, but haven't posted much in this thread until recently.  You and I have talked before, though.  Cooking school thread I started a while back for example.

I have had insomnia for as long as I can remember.  It really sucks.  I take over the counter sleeping pills (more than what they say to), but even then it often takes a couple of hours to get to sleep.  If I don't take sleeping pills I won't sleep at all.  Even when I finally do get to sleep, I rarely sleep for more than 5 hours a night.  I can't remember the last time I got 8 hours in a night.  Sucks

That must be really frustrating.

I'm the exact opposite. I could drink two pots of coffee and still fall immediately asleep if I lay down in bed. But I can't stay asleep any more than 4-5 hours. Then I start stirring and the best I can hope for is to kind of drift off a little in between staring at the ceiling.

That pretty much sums it up.  Worse is when I don't sleep and am exhausted all day and then the next night comes and I still can't get to sleep unless I take a bunch of sleeping pills.

Crazy thing is these sleeping pills will sometimes have me sleepwalking.  The other night I woke up standing at my front door with it open and me looking into the hallway of my apartment building wearing only my boxers.

If the current regime has taught me anything at all it's that I'd take W back yesterday and be his No. 1 fan.
