Not a doctor, and didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night/don't play one on TV, but If you are able to chew your jaw ain't broken. The main reasons I didn't go to the doctor today is because I am between jobs and don't have health insurance, just dental and vision through cobra. I never need to go to the doctor so I didn't feel like $500 a month for health insurance via cobra was worth it. Also, I have had a concussion before and the doctors couldn't do anything about it. You just need to rest. The bigger concern is that in getting this concussion, I may have broken my jaw. It's so painful, although I am skeptical it's broken because I think it would be worse if it was actually broken, because I can chew a little and it's not black and blue, it's just a little swollen and very painful. Since I have dental insurance I will see if any are in the office tomorrow and get some x-rays. I am a mess right now.
I wouldn't eff with the concussion part of it though. "All I need is rest" sounds great....until you find out too late you were building up pressure inside your dome from a broken capillary or somethin'.
