Decided to go to the park today.  Had the pleasure of this gentlemen parked next to me.  Tanning and smoking with the gentle rants of Rush Limbaugh eminating from his Caddy. Good times.

This is shaping up as a real Hell Week at work, which I suppose is some kind of karmic pre-payment for spending next week in Vegas.

Guy just might be taking the word 'park' a little too literally.

Speaking of parks, the one right near us is getting a major major facelift, as is our daughter's school, which will be torn down completely after this year and rebuilt in conjunction with the new park.  She'll go to a temporary school for 1 year and then come back to a brand spanking new school for 2nd grade.  The new park will have splash pads, sand volleyball courts, paved bocce ball, giant community garden, huge multi-purpose synthetic turf field and a sports court for hoops and pickleball, which is apparently the new sports phenomenon.  No thru traffic, which was a hill most neighbors were willing to die upon and all within 2/10 of a mile's walk from my house.  Finally some reward for the insane taxes we pay to live here.

Didn't really want my whole album out there, GB. Related, what photo-sharing site do you guys use? I'd like to be able to set it so it only displays the one photo, because knobs.

Photobucket is my throw away account.  Nothing there of significance

I've got an entire photobucket album dedicated to pictures of soup and water heaters.

I just converted my water heater into a soup cauldron. And while it's cool to get shrimp bisque out of my kitchen faucet, the same can't be said for the bathroom ones.

Also I'm pretty sure my photobucket account has a picture of me barfing up about 9/10ths of a gallon of milk, and possibly me in a Speedo, although that may be on imageshack or just a fantasy football site

As a Bills fan who hasn't seen good QB play in 25 years, watching Giants fans bash Eli and celebrate today is bizarre.

For their sake, I hope they have better success finding a competent QB than the Bills half the league has had.

Think I’d go with Han. Your wife could hang it backwards and pretend he’s grabbing her boobies.

Apparently sleep walking injuries are much more common than I thought.  Every medical person I have spoken with has said they have seen sleep walking injuries before.

I am starting to feel much better now.  My headache isn't as bad as it was a few days ago, especially when assisted with over the counter pain killers like Aleve and Advil.  I was able to concentrate and do well in my interview today and I wasn't as tired as I thought I would be afterwards.  I am optimistic I will be asked to go into the next (and probably final) round of interviews with them.  I have more interviews scheduled for tomorrow, Friday and next week (all different companies), as well as any follow ups from the interviews I had before Thanksgiving, so I had better continue improving.

My jaw still hurts, but no fractures or breaks.  I still can't eat something like those big sandwiches we can get at Italian delis around here, which I miss, but most other things I can eat, and most of them without the blinding pain I had a few days ago.  It's still painful, but it's more tolerable and less sensitive every day.  Since I was not able to keep food down on Thanksgiving, I must have been craving something greasy when I woke up on Friday, so for the first time in about 20 years I went to McDonalds.  Also, I knew I had to eat soft food that didn't require me to open my mouth much, and a little cheeseburger and some fries from there fit that description.  It was very hard to open my mouth up wide enough to fit even that into it, and when biting down it was so painful that I really understood what they meant by "blinding pain".  I couldn't even bite down hard enough to get through the little sliver of pickle they put on the burgers.  It's come a long way since then.

It is a sad commentary on our world that a convicted war criminal drank poison in open court and committed suicide today and it's not even an above-the fold (or bolded, depending on site setup) headline on most news sites.

How'd he sneak that in?  Mother effer should have been forced to endure a torturous prison life until he died.  Read about some of his crimes and the crimes committed during that war and it makes your stomach churn in disgust.

I just assumed it was fake news like everything else

If he was really tough, he would have just choked himself out with his bare hands.

PM Shuke or GM for pro-tips on unhinging your jaw for burger consumption.
