I hung a towel bar in our bathroom without even bothering with locating studs.  I had a feeling it would serve as a monkey bar for two curious monkey like boys.  I was right.  Thing lasted about a week and a half and now I've just got holes in our wall and have to hang my towel over the shower door like a frat kid.

Drywall anchors are useless for towel bars (esp with kiddos around).

Re:template @mr. furley just put the towel bar together then place on top of a piece of cardboard and poke hold through the screw holes and through the cardboard. Now you have a template. 

Wrap up the template and give it to your wife as a late Christmas present. 

Film it.

My new house has a pad for boat parking, only there is an arbor blocking it.  I asked the sellers about it and they said their real estate agent told them to put it up and move their boat because it was better for curb appeal.  They agreed with me that that was just stupid.  Today I dug down to the concrete it was set in, cut it off with a sawzall and filled in the holes,  Went to move the boat but my truck battery was dead, as was my jump box.  But I didn’t freeze or stand in the rain because: (1) I park in the garage; (2) I don’t live in the arctic; and (c) I’m not married.

Guys, for the first time in 17 years, the Bills are in the playoffs. I actually teared up a little when the Bengals game ended. I don't even care if they lose, I was just so tired of hearing about how long the drought was and how it was the longest in the 4 major US sports. 

God bless Sean McDermott and man I love that not only is Kyle Williams in the playoffs, but that he freaking scored a rushing touchdown today.
