A guy at work yesterday sat down at the lunch table with leftovers of pork loin and vegetables. He pulled them straight from the fridge and sat down. I asked him "you're not gonna heat up?". He said no and that he doesn't heat leftover pork and chicken.

Weird.

so, i help my FIL pay his rent monthly (uber long story) and the landlord hasn’t cashed the june rent check.  i told my wife to call him and she said she was too busy with work and he is a PITA, can i call. i said i don’t call my own parent, i’m not calling him (mind you, both my parents are dead).  too harsh?

he called me last year to complain that he wanted the check on the 1st of every month, so I wrote him a nasty letter, explained the lease gives me a grace period, but I sent him post dated checks for 6 mos and have done so again.  all were cashed by the 1st.  this time I sent the checks to my FIL and not the landlord directly.  I know my FIL got them, but he is a moron, si not sure if he gave them to landlord.

Going on a Scout camping trip this weekend.  Looks like all day rain in the forecast for Saturday.  I feel like I should tough it out but probably going to be a miserable experience

1) 3 days

2) 2 weeks

there's really nothing to spoil. Cheese, tomato sauce, pepperoni and bread can all sit on an unrefrigerated shelf indefinitely

I substituted carpaccio for the steak and used tartare for the burger.

Oh, this is Cub Scouts?  How old is your son?  Do you have to go?  The sooner you get him used to going on campouts without you the better.

Yeah sorry, Cub scouts.  Whole family is going since I am the Bear leader and wife is the Tiger leader

3rd Grade (9) , 1st Grade (6) and our 5 year old

so yeah, kinda committed 

 
* Three day shelf-life not warranted if pizza contains: pineapple, chicken and/or sushi

** But it really isn't warranted anyway, since anything with pineapple, sushi or chicken cannot ever be a pizza

One of my most useful services is to have to deal with the contractors so you don't have to.

I can't begin to explain the hell of renovating even a simple apartment in NyC.

ETA... Also I'm reading "sick af" as being super foxy.
