Yeah. I have a gas grill so the bars of the grate are a little beefier than a normal charcoal grill grate. I thought they would fall through when I first put them on, but they stayed on the grate.

News to me as well, if true. Seems like it would be a hassle. I'm assuming we aren't talking about a flat top on the stove.

No hassle involved. I put the strips down when I was about halfway through cooking the burgers, flipped them once after a few minutes and WA LA, nice crispy bacon on my burger. There is no mess or grease splatter to worry about, it all just drips down and causes flareups that get the bacon flame kissed.

My parents 40th wedding anniversary is coming up and we were making some plans last night for a party that is going to cost me a grip. We had their 25th party in the basement of our tiny house that was in the middle of being finished so it looked like hell. (Thanks for the help with both parties little sis! I hope the weather in Hawaii is nice!)Now we have some pretty nice digs and we are looking to upgrade next spring and it really got me thinking. I've really never contributed much to society except giving people some cheap laughs and a charitable donation here and there. I have a lot more than I ever should have. Man is that awesome.

My parents 40th is this Sunday.No idea what to get them, so we got them a card and we're letting them see their grandchildren at Atlantis in the Bahamas. They get to play with the children, while me and the wife hit the bars/casino for a week.
