Let's say a girl you "know" was in a music video as a teenager but didn't want you to see it. She wouldn't tell you the song, but you managed to figure it out and find it anyway.

How best to reveal that information to her? I was thinking casually dropping some lyrics into texts would be good shtick, but unfortunately the lyrics are too obvious.

how many hints did she drop before you came up with that?she could have shown me the video, pointed to herself, paused the video and said "that's me" and i still wouldn't have been able to tell you the name of the artist of the song.

She told me the Randy Travis part. With that and a general idea of a range of years, I checked wiki for his singles. Then youtube for the videos. Hit on the second try.

Start with empty big ### pitcher.

Pour in 4 cans of beer (Light works here. You're not wasting quality beer on this).

Add 1 can frozen Limeade

Take frozen Limeade can and fill it with tequila. Add to pitcher and mix. Add splash of white soda if people prefer a little sweetness in it.

Salt rim of glass. Fill glass. Get drunk. Teh wimmens seems to be big fans of this.

I think he means the guy that says the book is much better than the film. There are some cases where the film is better. I thought Silence of the Lambs was one instance, although every other book by Thomas Harris was better than the crap movie. Another one was The English Patient. I know that most people hate it, but I actually liked it. The book was completely unreadable, and I truly mean that. Impossibly terrible. Ontaatje has this fascination with describing the winds of the Sahara (which have their own names) with great detail.I'd tried to subject myself to Pride and Prejudice on a few occasions, you know, to better understand the female mind, but I've only made about 1/4 of the way through on two attempts. It's insufferable the way Jane Austen writes. She spends so much time telling you about gossip and peoples' standing in society. The A&E miniseries was actually quite good.Anyone read Tim Crochets book prologue yet?

I got through about a couple hundred words. It was rough.
